excellent product looks wise and works as mentioned, used Adeni Dukhni powder in the small plate and placed it inside. there was no smoke, very slight smoke to give you a hint that it has started the process. However, the powder burns out pretty fast. i have tried burning dukhni over hot coal and felt the smell is stronger that way but the smoke is too. overall, for the lookwise, i would keep this product and avoid the smoke. It looks better than the pictures used and shuts down and turns off based on the timer.

This burner does not function well. We used it in our clinic for less than a month. The light was on, but the plate stopped working. It does not get hot anymore. I wrote customer service, but our concern was never addressed. I wrote twice but we did not get even a courtesy reply. We are figuring out what to do with the unit.

This review is based on condition received in, initial impressions, and initial start up. Start up day January 25th. The item arrived in good condition and all the parts were present and appear to be unused. The burner is fairly sturdy but keep in mind that this is stamped out sheet metal that has been colored using an etching method. As such it is fairly lightweight. The supplied cord is up to current standards (plugs and wire thickness). My use is for Bakhoor, I have a candle burner but find myself going through a lot of candles, several times I have left the room while the candle was lit (I simply forgot about it) which is not optimal. I like the look of this burner, it has an indicator light on the front to indicate that it is in operation and this light will turn off when the timer on the remote switch has expired. One feature I particularly like is the adjustable temperature, this will give you more control over the level of scent in some case. I am hoping for a long service time on this burner but will update this review if problems develop.

I gave this incense burner to a friend as a gift, and she loves it. The variable heat control is rare in burners like this, but necessary as different incenses burn at different temperatures. The little drawers for storing incense are great, and the unit looks really nice too. A good tool and accent piece for most environments.

Mine came very poorly made. The drawer is stuck, and bent, and I cannot open it. All pieces are just kinda hanging on for dear life. Terrible odor the 1st time you turn it on. But so far it heats up enough to burn my bakhoor, and there aren't any sparks coming from it, yet. So I suppose it will suffice. Disappointed in the cost considering it's a cheaply made burner. UPDATE Attar Mist reached out unprompted and offered to send a replacement burner. The new one arrived today, and is in much better condition than the 1st. I was very impressed with their customer service and quick response time. I would now absolutely recommend this burner. The 2nd one works perfectly! Thank you for such amazing service Attar Mist! 9 MONTH UPDATE: Heating element stopped working. I still love this burner. Maybe it's my fault cause I use it a LOT.

This Incense burner is very beautiful and works great. I love the secret compartment draw and heating options.

Original Review: For some reason, despite product warnings against shaking the unit, the seller thought it would be a good idea to ship with no padding... in a bag, not even a box. Shipping caused damage, resulting in a hole in the filigree, see photo 1. The electric elements were damaged in transit, due to the lack of protection. The unit will not stay on. It shuts itself off as soon as it is hot enough to "burn' the incense. I waited >2 weeks for a huge disappointment. I was excited that I wouldn't need fire to use my incense. I looked forward to using this product, but now I'm sad and annoyed with it. Now I get why it had so many bad reviews. The only good thing about it, is its somewhat sturdy metal material and outward appearance. Other than that, this seems to have been deliberately created to become sensitive and quick to become inoperable. Update: Seller sent me another unit right away and asked me to update my review. I DID update my review, but Amazon chose not to post it, because my second unit was damaged in exactly the same way and I was honest about it. Censorship is real. That aside, I can now add a new update. I moved to a new place, apparently with stronger electrical service, because the unit no longer shuts itself down. That's great! I use this unit daily now. I LOVE that I can adjust the temperature for different types of incense. I LOVE how beautiful my home smells with a gentle woft of incense floating in the air. I shared the second unit with a friend and she loved it as well. We really appreciate that there is no fire or smoke in our homes, while still being able to use incense. These units are great for resin, wood, dried leaf and, powdered incense. It would be wise to adjust the temp according to whatever you're "burning", e.g. 160°f for copal, 170°f for frankincense + powdered incense, 180° for myrrh, hotter for dried sage leaf and very hot for wood chips. The idea is to release the scent, without burning the material and creating smoke. Once you've worked out the right temperature settings for your favorite incense, you will never have to deal with smoke or ash again. This is perfect for: buildings with strict fire use regulations + homes with kids, pets, elderly + for businesses who want to use natural incense vs spraying chemical air fresheners. Put the fabreeze down! Use this to "burn" beautiful incense instead! The reason for 3 stars: Customer service was severely lacking and actually in denial of their shipping causing damage to the unit + both units had exterior damage to the body + shipping time was a long wait + electric functioning is sensitive and very likely not rated to U.S. standards. I keep mine out of view and on a surge protector.

Va très bien et sent très bon

I liked this electric burner. It is fancy and has a solid construction. It is brand new and came with all accessories like a cable with a timer and temperature controller, a burning plate, a tong, and instructions. It is working great without smoke, unlike charcoal; only a small amount comes from bakhoor and frankincense, which gives the actual aroma. It is a bit pricey, but I'm happy with the purchase after using it, and I also couldn't find the same fancy style anywhere else. It is unique. Delivery was estimated at 10-15 days, but it was super-fast UPS delivery within 3 days.
