For professionals but DIY can use it too
I saw another product that did the same thing as this one. The price and simplicity was better for my needs. This product is professional, and not a toy. I'm using it to check fuses for parasitic draws 06 Colorado. Very useful product.

Easy to use and quick to find the issue
Easy to use. First use found a blown fuse on the secondary fan and a parasite drain on the radio which causes the battery to die. Next step finding the drain on the line (possibly factory cd player per you tube sources).

Huge time saver and problem solver
I've been chasing a parasitic battery drain in my car for months now. A good mechanic that I use couldn't find it either, because it would randomly come and go. But when it hit, it left the car dead. With a clamp ammeter around a battery cable, I could see when the drain was happening, so I would try pulling fuses, but wow, what a chore to crawl in, pull a fuse and then get up to go around and check the ammeter 40 times in a row. Worse, because the drain would come and go, by the time I got to the 5th fuse, the drain would typically be gone again, and thereby escape detection. Ugh.Then I found this thing and decided to try it. Basically you just probe the fuse tops and it gives a steady tone for no current, or beeps for current (and shows the amps). So I can zip through the whole fuse block in a minute now without taking them out, and because it's so quick I was able to find the problem circuit while it was acting up (it was the ancient telephone module, which I don't even use, so fuse yanked and problem solved!)Absolutely a great tool for finding those pesky battery drain problems!!!

Pretty pricey for how cheaply it's made.
If I ever find the drain on my battery, I'll let you know. It's easy after the first use.

Works well for parasitic draw
Works well for the task of parasitic draw and excessive current draw of systems. The ability to run a quick rest without disturbing the circuit is very convenient. Set up and use is straight forward and easily mastered within a few minutes. Well made with a substantial feel.

Best Amperage tool yet!
GREAT TOOL! Very easy to use. I put the test leads across the top of the fuse and I get a beep. One beep means that there is no amperage flowing in that circuit. If I hear 3 beeps, it means that there is some amperage in that circuit. If I want to know how much amperage is in the circuit, I just have to set the tool and it will tell me exactly how much amperage is flowing in that circuit. Finding a parasitic drain is a piece of cake since all I have to do it touch the fuses and listen to the beep! I have saved a bunch of time with this tool!

Best Thing Since Sliced Bred!
This tool will likely change my approach to troubleshooting. Most of us use voltage checks to troubleshoot, and that is very valid. Many of us do not know how to hook an ammeter in series. I have seen folks let the smoke out of a perfectly good Multi-Meter by installing it in a circuit incorrectly. By By $80 Multi-Meter!if one wants to measure the 2 Seconds of fuel pump current used to prime the fuel rail for example, ;let's face it, it is a pain in the . . . neck to install any standard ammeter and at the same time provide fuse protection. This tool allows one to read the current without breaking the circuit. I have been in the electrical business for many years but until a couple of weeks ago, I did not know this tool existed. What a great idea!
