I can’t say enough good things about this bird backpack carrier! Dunkin, my parrotlet, absolutely loves it, and so do I. The design is great—it’s spacious enough for him to move around, and the clear front lets him take in the view while we’re out. I did make a few creative modifications to improve its sturdiness and functionality. I sewed fabric onto a piece of cardboard and placed it inside the side mesh pocket, which helps keep the carrier open and prevents it from folding in on itself.For added comfort, I attached a wooden perch to the bottom center hole so Dunkin has something to land on if he hops down. The perch, along with the stainless steel bowls I’ll be adding on either side, is meant for a regular birdcage, but they work perfectly with this carrier as well. I also customized the metal tray by sewing fabric onto it and placing a paper towel on top to catch droppings, making cleanup easier and ensuring a more comfortable space for Dunkin.The carrier is lightweight, well-ventilated, and the tropical design always gets compliments. Even without modifications, it’s a great way to bring Dunkin along on adventures, but with a little creativity, it’s even better!

Very cute and my bird loves it it the straps length went tight enough so my bird doesn’t get to dizzy with the movement and is good for bike ride and easy to build very light and was very cheap for this good of a product loved it shipping was done within a few days

No five stars cuz it came with a damaged tray. Seems to be an issue for them, I was prepared and expected it based off other reviews.Pros: Has one mesh pocket. Size is perfect. Not too big like most of the backpack versions of pet carriers. The bird is currently about six inches long and this is perfect for just her. However I wish that it was able to have a cross body strap instead of backpack straps....cuz literally I'm never going to wear it like a backpack. I may modify it. I don't put the tin tray in and opted to put a baby blanket in instead. Easy enough to take out and wash when needed. I'm very happy with the carrier overall. It's decent quality and cute it needed to be un-squished upon taking it out of the box.

This is a cute bird travel cage with a funky pattern. It appears to be high quality and easy to clean. I will update the review after it has had more use.

I've been using this carrier for 3 green cheek conure birds. It is good quality and has many excellent features. I can open the top for super easy access or unzip a side panel for more limited access if I want to add some food or treats without letting the birds escape. The birds like the see-through panel and climbing all over the mesh panels. It is easy to carry on you lap, on your back, or load i to the back seat of a 2 door car. The wooden perch is easy to install and the birds can grip it tight & securely. The side pockets are perfect for treats or clean up tissues. Highly recommend this carrier for your small birds.

Update 7/29This is the best carrier ever! The second one I ordered came with the perch. It was perfect for my jenday conure. No, she has not bite through the mesh. I use it to transport her from my fiancé's house to my house all the time. I did notice someone said the perch sucks because their bird can't stand on it. However, I wouldn't say the perch doesn't work but my bird definitely prefers hanging onto the mesh or the food bowl clip. You can always get a different perch if needed as well. It's easy to clean because it has zippers all around. I use a weewee pad or newspaper for it. Since it's only for transporting, she rarely poops in it. Highly recommend! Also, mine did have a loop on the top for hang toys. I noticed another review said they didn't. But anyway, I didn't have any issues with the seller at all in terms of return. So safe to buy if you're worried about missing pieces. :)I received this today but found the perch missing from the package. Wasn't sure how to contact the seller so I'm returning it and I already placed an order for another one in hopes it will come with the perch. Love the design so far. 3 stars for now.. I will update again when I receive the other one.

The media could not be loaded. I got this backpack for travel and to take my bird outside for fresh air without having to bring his entire cage. The size is good (and sadly, larger than some cages I've seen). There is wire in the frame so the bag doesn't collapse in on itself. A loop on the inside for a toy. It does not come with any food dishes so I got a clip on food bowl separately and it works fine. He is eating and preening in it within an hour so he seems comfortable enough. It does have a plasticy smell but I don't think its too strong and will most likely wear off. If you have a small bird i WOULD NOT recommend the tote style bag because your bird could get stuck in the large air holes or possibly escape.
