These are nice little hinges, but the scews are a joke. You'll definitely have to buy bigger screws if you're using these hinges for anything that requires a strong hold. I bought these to replace old hinges on a large wooden box that my grandpa made nearly 95 years ago. After sanding and repainting the box, then putting these new hinges on, it looks fantastic. I installed these on a regulator clock that I built for my daughter's wedding and couldn't be happier. They are high quality and look great on the clock. The antique brass finish is nice and dark, as it should be with a gold/brass undertone.

Screw heads popped off with just hand screwdriver pressure. Totally unacceptable.

Antique finish looks authentic, hinges are of excellent quality. Exactly as described, mounting hardware good quality and they provided two extra screws.

This hinge is nearly an exact copy of the original antique cabinet door hinge I replaced.

The hinges themselves are quite good. However, the screws supplied with them are poorly made. They don’t seat well into the countersunk holes of the hinge leaves, sticking up too proud of the face of the leaf. The heads of the screw stick up so high that they knock into their opposites and prevent the hinge from closing all of the way. The only way to remedy this is to chop the depth of the mortises at an angle (deeper in the back edge) in order to give the leaves more room to close together. Even so, I had to use different screws which fit more snugly into the holes of the leaves.

The hinges are okay but I ordered the wrong ones. I will keep them for another project.
