There are so many lip gloss bases, some ranging 50 dollars and higher, but I absolutely found a steal! It's moisturizing, it lasts forever, andfor(I fell asleep with it on, and it was still perfect the next morning!) and for less than 10 dollars, you aren't going to find a better deal. I use matte lipstick, and coat it with a small amount of base, but you can make your own mixed colors, and I'm planning on trying that next. It's not sticky, and it doesn't taste bad, so yea, I would absolutely buy this again. Compare prices with other base glosses....I can't believe that I ever spent so much before.

This is a massive bag so has lasted ages.The gloss can be used alone but it’s more for making your own glosses. I’ve mixed it with a coloured gloss I already owned and it made a more subtle shade which is nice for a daytime makeup look. I’m enjoying playing with this and next I’ll be ordering some pigments to try and make more of my own glosses

3 days before this fabulous stuff turned up, I had dry chapped lips from the bitter cold weather walking the dog and being indoors with the heating on. As soon as this arrived I dabbed a bit on my lips to see what it was like. Lovely to wear, very moisturising and no stickiness. Just left it on all day, without reapplying. Come the evening I realised my lips were all better. I’m never going to waste my money on any of my other sore lip cream sticks again. Because this stuff is surprisingly good and is going to last ages. A few days later I put my favourite Coloured pale pink lip stick on. Put some of this stuff over it. It melted into the lipstick within less then a minute, losing the pale pink colour. So I applied my lipstick straight over the top of the gloss base again. Walla! It worked! Now my favourite colour lipstick has turned from Matt to a more creamy gloss look (see pic). And still perfectly moisturised my lips at the same time. I’m loving this stuff and for the huge amount you get in the cool looking pouch it’s a bargain. I absolutely recommend this little gem of a find. Once the lockdown ends and the world returns to normal. I’m going to pour some into a little mini pot, so I can have it in my hand bag when I’m out and about for the day.

This is a great value lip gloss base.Used alone on bare lips it’s gives subtle glossy shine but is also moisturising, used on top of lipstick it makes even Matt lipstick glossy but it really comes into its own when used as a base for plumper or making own coloured glosses.Disappointingly this product doesn’t come with any instructions but adding small amounts of peppermint or cinnamon oil will give plumping effect to lips or adding cinnamon powder will give tinted gloss with plumping effects.I use mica powders to colour the base to make individual glosses you can adjust amount of powder to get depth of colour you want.There are many sites that have full instructions and recipes. ( for want of better word 😊) a basic kit of small pots a bottle or 2 of essential oils and few mica powders and you will be set up to make own plumping and coloured glosses.It is disappointing that not even basic instructions are included but I decided not knock star off because quality is good and is good value.Hope this review has been helpful? This would be good if it came with instructions.I have used it as it is as my lips are feeling really dry due to the weather and constant changes or temperatures but I would of liked to of added some colour and thought this would be great to create my own but no indication on what an earth you add to it, so unless you already know what your doing it’s fine but I have no clue

Absolutely ideal for making your own lip gloss or using as-is for a natural look. Bonus it's also vegan and cruelty-free. Ticks all my boxes. Recommend

Good amount for the price, of you were to buy this in smaller tubs you would have to spend alot to get this amount, so great value.I love the fact its all natural ingredients, so safe to use without worry as it obviously goes on the lips..It comes clear, which is versatile for colour addition if required..This isn't the most glossy gloss I've used, as it does tend to sink into the lips. Good for hydration but as others have said , feels a bit like a lip balm..Would need to re apply for the shiney look on a regular basis.Value is spot on, and this will be very useful for home made gloss also.

I love the idea of making my own lipgloss and was excited to receive this. However, the package doesn’t come with instructions, you have to search the listing for it. Which if giving for a gift isn’t ideal, for own use is fine.This pack just comes with a clear “lip gloss” if you wanted to create your own colour you would have to purchase the pigments to make it safe for your lips.There is ideas and images online of how to use eyeshadow to make a lipgloss. I’m just unsure how safe that would be.The gloss itself feels extremely oily and then to make your own you have to add olive oil so I can only imagine it will be worse. Not a feeling I particularly liked to be honest, the consistency just felt wrong. 2*
