Perfectly concise!
I have several books on this subject, and was looking for some practice arrythmia book(s) when I tripped across this one.Now the 'other' books are - for the most part - pretty good, (eg Rapid Interpretation of EKGs) but for the most part they don't flow well. They feel like textbooks... So the info feels complex (ok, ok, Cardiac rhythms *are* by nature complex!)This book however lays things out in a consistent manner, gently flowing manner, and not all 'crammed' together, with enough detail and memory aids /mnemonics to actually learn this stuff. The author even has a bit of a sense of humor so while I wouldn't go so far as to use the term "it's a good read", its not dry!I have shown this to several of my colleagues and they promptly bought a copy! (Amazon should give me a commission! :))The other books are back on the shelf! Also, as info, there is a companion to this with practice Arrythmias. (Which is actually how I discovered this book)Well worth it! get the set

Informative and easy to understand
I met Tyler at NTI in Philadelphia this year. This book sold out at the conference, and I can totally see why. This book breaks down each rhythm, where it anatomically originates, and why we should care as providers. It’s easy to understand for beginners, but still has things to teach those proficient in cardiac rhythms. I will forever recommend this book to anyone struggling with rhythms!

Very easy to learn your rhythms
I've been a nurse for 15 years And after reviewing this book I could not believe how easy they made it to explain and understand rhythms!!!

The best EKG book
I recommend this book to anyone who needs to know how to interpret EKGs. This is great for nursing students in med surg or critical care, and also a wonderful resource for new grad nurses, telemetry techs, paramedics, and anyone else who uses this skill on a routine basis. Everything The Visual Nurse makes is great, but I really love having a physical book to reference when needed. Definitely pick this up if you need some better EKG interpretation skills!

Great for beginners
As an educator this is one of my favourite resources to recommend! Great visuals, easy to follow lessons, content relevant to RN practice and need-to-know concepts. Nothing goes beyond what an RN can and should know if working with telemetry.
