Works great
I purchased another model and had some connection problems with it, so I ordered this one. It works great. I still had the connection problem, but I replaced the cable and now it works as it should. I could have saved a bunch of headaches if I had tried the cable first.TP-Link makes a ton of models. They are all great to my knowledge. But some are managed and some are not. This means that if you need to do management for the switch this model is not the one to get. But if you need if for a home or small office network it is perfect. The big company wide systems will use a managed model. It is rack mountable which seems to countermand the issue of being a non-,managed switch. But all that means is that it has some adapters that come with it to mount it on a rack of other switches. If you are a home user or small office user, ignore those extra parts. The price is right, the company is great and the switches work. Just get it, plug it in and watch it work.

Solid device for the cost. No problems at all.
Cheap and works great. Got exactly what I was looking for. I've been running a few of these for 3-4 years now and never had one fail.

They fired right up and have been working fine for 4 months
I purchased two of these to replace old switches in two small offices (10 employees each). They fired right up and have been working fine for 4 months. I have not had to reboot them yet.

Very nice piece of trouble free equipment - as some switches can be twitchy with relatively high bandwidth.

Check all ports immediately after buying
Great price for an 8 port GB Ethernet switch. I bought it to network a new Amazon Fire TV and weather station bridge. I gave it 2 stars because I discovered that one port doesn't work. Missed being able to to return it to Amazon by ONE DAY. My fault.
