Beautiful craftsmanship. Real embroidery and lovely detailed metal lacing grommets. Quality fabric that was soft yet sturdy. Well sewn hems, closures and decorative details. They had even removed all the loose end threads! Very professional work. I ordered a size small- - I’m 5’ 5” 118lbs and wear size 2/4 typically- - The fit was perfect but also very snug. Not the dress for eating giant meals, lifting heavy kegs or singing operas in! If it had been of lesser quality, I’m sure the seams could split and pop! But it held fine all day and looks like it will last a long time. My single wish is that the dirndl top had a way to adjust it from underneath the bodice to allow the “girls” to be a little more front and center. The length of the top is so short, it barely covered my bra, stopping just beneath the second row of lacing grommets. I was imagining sewing two sets of ribbons onto the dirndls bottom hem, one each on the front and back, and left-side, right-side, that could hang down past the waist. At least then you could pull those from under the skirt to lower it or even attach snaps or Velcro to the ribbons (like a garter almost) and also on the inside of the bodice/skirt at corresponding lengths. Then you could adjust the top “depth” to your liking and secure it to stay in place! Maybe? Idk… just a thought. Once it’s all zipped up, there’s not much ability to change how the top lays or how on display you are. As you can see, this outfit is more “modest”, concealing the bust (there are adequate girls hiding in there) and hitting just below my knee, unlike many others I viewed online, but this was perfect for my needs. I even discovered I had the perfect stockings to match the blue apron exactly! (I’d ordered those from Amazon the year before). I did wear a crinoline petticoat underneath, but the skirt fabric has enough heft that it looked fine without one. I found wearing a slip was optional, as the skirt had no see-through issues and I didn’t find it scratchy. Shipping was fast! It arrived in less than five days!Removing it from the packaging, I noticed some minor wrinkling, but all it needed was a couple spritzes of water and a few vigorous shakes to release them. Considering this is not a dress I’ll be wearing but once or twice a year during Octoberfest or Halloween, I wanted it to last for years and not fade, have stitches fall out or get old looking just hanging in the closet due to cheap materials or workmanship. This really matched all my needs! This dress is SO well made! Great, thick fabric, pretty design, comfy, and a great price! If you see the 20% off deal, grab it! It looks pretty close to the authentic dirndls I saw in Austria. Doesn’t look “costumey,” either. I did have to return a few to get down to the right size, so I’d say it runs a bit large. I seriously can’t wait to wear this to a bunch of Oktoberfest events!

This was a quick decision purchase and i was on a budget so I wasn't as knowledgeable about true dirndls at the time. It fit okay. A little snug, but I got it on. I usually wear XXL items but this material has zero give which is why it felt a bit snug but even a day of drinking beers and eating brats, I felt comfortable. Keep in mind this isn't an authentic dirndl, the materials are very costume like and cheap feeling compared to the real deal. That being said, it gets the job down appearance wise. The blouse that it comes with is an absolute H*LL NO. I was afraid I was going to have to cut myself out of that thing when I tried it on. Even as a cheap blouse with the dirndl it is not good. I ended up spending the cash at a site called raredirndl for a much better blouse. It made all the difference. I was ready to return this product if I still had to wear the blouse it came with but changing it out for a quality one made it worth it. I also paired this with a petticoat which I would highly suggest due to its light cheap material. The petticoat will help the dress from flying up in the wind and make the quality seem a bit better. Speaking of quality, because it was so cheap and they don't really advise heat to the material I just let them hang on a hanger for a week prior to wearing them rather than trying to iron or dry the wrinkles out. I was afraid it might damage it before I could wear it so the wrinkles remained throughout the fest. In the end, It's not like I was wearing this in Germany where I would have felt like this costumey quality would be an insult. Most everyone, at least at our Okterberfest, purchased similar quality dirndls if they dressed up at all and were not that educated on the wear. So this did the trick for a quick wallet friendly dirndl purchase and I received so many compliments. That being said, I hope to afford a legit one next year and would prefer not to wear this again.

The fabric is mostly polyester and cotton. The colors are nice and bright. The embroidery is very nice. I had read all the reviews and was somewhat worried my normal size of XL might be too tight so I ordered 2XL. It is too big for me and I now plan to order one size smaller. 5.5' tall and the length is perfect.

Great quality. Kept it for the non plunging neckline that all the others have on the blouse. Blouse was tight and small but I couldnt go larger as the dress itself was on the big side. i kept a medium (which is what i normally wear) and i'm 5 ft 2 and 140 lbs. i wish the dress cinched at the waist more. Good quality. Wore it to Oktoberfest in Germany. Not the cheap cheesy costume. Fit in perfectly. loved it

Winner! Nice durable fabric. Seams won't fray. The ribbon, apron and dress colors all coordinate very well! I weigh 168 and am 5'3" ordered a XXL because I was concerned that sizes ran small as they SO OFTEN do outside of the US sizing. Nope, not this time. This was much to big so I ordered a XL that may even be roomy.... but there WILL be beer wearing this dress (wink). The metal loops holding the ribbon are authentic and classy looking, just like in the picture. It's a winner ladies! Came to my knee ... easy to hem but you can't make it longer and I'm 66 years old so I'm good with the length. Really happy!!

Dirndl heeft een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Het is zeker niet gemaakt van een glimmende synthetische stof maar ziet er authentiek genoeg uit om het op een Oktoberfest te dragen
