We use this for cooking..We had one that could not be refilled because it was too old and this one is perfect.

I have three of these tanks now. Anyplace that fills a 20# will fill this for you without even batting an eye. Great Buy.

Exactly what is says on the box.Caused some annoyance at the bottle refill station as the (I think) safety relief valve was left cracked open a tad (oops, small gas leak!), but he really should have checked that, being a fully trained, bottle filling expert.Also, this was available for purchase unlike everywhere else. Bit of a run on tanks, I believe.

To my surprise this 40lb tank weighs nearly as my 11lb Worthington tanks which I purchased back in 2015. The metal was too thin for my liking so I returned it and purchased a Manchester tank which I like better.My old 11lb tanks were made in the USA and really like them. I don’t know where the new Worthington tanks are made.

Very well made and perfect for my portable generator. I was looking for a tank that would be larger than my barbecue tank so that we would have more hours with the generator before filling. Fit the bill.
