SPRI Wrist Weights Thumblock Arm Weights Set for Women & Men (Available in 2lb or 4lb Sets)

Update 08/14/21I bought these in March and for a few months they were a great addition until the little black metal sand started to leak from them. I tried to work around it but after a while it became too distracting. So I stopped using them.Too bad because they are nice items. I wish the fabric was a bit more sturdy so the sand leakage wouldn’t happenI love this thing. I use it when I’m working out in VR. It helps in toning and building muscles. I’ve had it for a two months and no complaints on my part.

I like them I don’t wear them as much as I should but they cute and heavy

I used these weights while playing Beat Saber for an extra challenge and they worked wonders! really helped me build muscle and lose weight quick. They are easy put on and are very comfortable compared to other weights. Mostly because of the thumb holes which make putting them on super easy.The one problem: eventually they did start wearing out and dropping sand, but that was after several months of daily use.

Okay, so I bought these as an assistive to getting more out of my exercise (being an author means sitting around a lot -- I need all of the assistance I can get). They fit well unless you have monster sized wrists. I think they should say in the description the exact length and wrist sizes they fit. I am no expert on that so I can only say "keep the receipt." Why I love these enough to give a review is that they are super well-made. The stitching on them is top-notch professional. These are made for athletes (and people like me who wish they were). The thumb hole is genius. It keeps the wrist band from sliding up and down your arm.These are really fat. That comes from the 2 pounds of sand of course, but it feels like I am wearing puffy lead donuts around my wrists. They are not so much heavy as they are "meaty" and will test your stamina and endurance after 15 minutes of wearing these. They are made of neoprene (the stuff they use for wetsuits). I have never heard of this company but if this is indicative of their products then this is a very good sign of their quality. Keep in mind that if you are a "big man" these may be too small for you. They fit me "okay" but they would fit a woman with average to large sized wrists, or a smaller man a LOT better.

I've had these for four years. They worked perfect during that time but I haven't used them very much as I prefer dumbbells. I noticed the area near my workout was always dirty. Come to find out, the weighted materials inside were starting to leak out. Not knowing what that material is, I chose to play it safe and threw them out.

So found these to add to my nightly movement routine and they are perfect. Fit great and stay on. They do not move around and are comfortable. Easy to put on and helps to add just a little more weight to hopefully strengthen up my arms.

I bought these as a replacement for an older pair that had finally begun to wear through and leak sand after many years of regular use. I wear them while riding a low-profile elliptical machine, which is not particularly hard usage, but even the best fabric will eventually fatigue and begin to split given enough time.These weights appeared solid and well-made out of the box. They are made from a smooth, stretchy fabric that is quite comfortable. I could easily fasten them around my wrists (I am a relatively big-boned man). However, just five weeks after purchase the fabric began to wear through at the seam and leak sand. A close inspection shows that the fabric is already fatiguing and separating around the center seam of one of the weights. This is something that took years to happen to my last pair, and is unrepairable. Apparently the comfortable, stretchy fabric is not strong enough to maintain integrity under the weight of the sand with which it is packed.This is a well-intentioned design that does not work. Unfortunately the manufacturer seems to be selling off existing stock rather than taking the loss on failed R&D. If you plan to use these with any sort of repetitive motion - meaning any sort of exercise - expect to replace them very soon.

Have used these for a bit over a month. They are comfortable, seemingly well made and easy to use. I have not experienced the wear issues that some people have had problems with; these are holding up well so far.In terms of fit, these run on the large side. I'm a guy with medium to medium-small wrist size, and to get these snug enough for active use I'm pretty much on the edge of the limits of the velcro. A woman with small to medium wrist size will likely find these too large to wear and likely a bit too bulky.
