This is a great hair serum. Just be careful not to use too much or too little. it is really thick and may not pump well. What I do is twist off the top and dab my hand some of what is on the stem of the pump, then run that between my hands well to thin it out then rub it through my hair well to get it distributed evenly throughout my hair and on top of my hair after I comb out my wet hair. It helps my hair feel thick and healthy, not frizzy or heat frazzled. Highly recommend.

Make your hair feel fuller and soft

We purchased this for fly aways and heat protection. It works well on my daughter curly hair, and it doesn’t take much. A full pump of product is too much for her curly hair and overwhelms my straight fine hair. It gets four stars for the fact that it does have a bit of weight or oil to it for such little amount of product used. It does make your hair soft and easier to manage, and quickly smooths flyaways.

I have thick, coarse hair, and I rarely use post-shampoo product because it tends to weigh my hair down. This is an exception. I take just a small amount -- maybe the size of a dime, rub my hands together, and apply it to damp hair on sides, back and crown (not top or bangs). I blow dry and sometimes straighten. My hair is soft, smooth and silky. I highly recommend.

I listed the ingredients for Sebastian Taming Elixyr, and asked AI to give me the closest product it could find to it. This is what it suggested... It's not similar in any way that I can tell. It's a bit greasy/sticky feeling, not the smooth creamy leave-in feel I was hoping for. It doesn't leave a true wet look, but it is a little shiny - so it performs better than a couple other products I've tried. but it not quite the product I was looking for.

I LOVE this product. I couldn't see a lot of difference at the beginning but I think that I was not using the right amount. I started applying an amount of about a dime size (more or less... sometimes like half of it) and it leave my hair amazing! I have tried different products to tame my wavy hair in Texas humid weather and nothing would do the trick. This product not only helps with that, but it also leaves a great scent. My husband always compliments the scent every time that I wear it. It also helps with flyaway hairs.

I bought this product to replace the Pureology Hydrate Shine Max product and it is just not the same. The Shine Max product detangled and smoothed out my hair and made it smooth for daaayyzz and it smelled great. I got so many compliments on my hair when I used that product. Unfortunately, Pureology discontinued that product (Why Pureology, why?) This product doesn't even come close. It is very thick, like a gel and is hard to get it to go on smoothly. With or without blow-drying my hair is not nearly as smooth. It doesn't detangle at all and leaves my hair heavy and kind of oily. Using this results in having to wash my hair more frequently. I have type 2a or 2b hair. I ultimately just threw this out.
