Why isn't one of them a dark glass or plastic to help preserve olive oil?

They are made of thick glass, and I have not had any problems with preservation of extra virgin olive oil in one of them. I have avocado oil in the other. I purchase olive oil in a larger darkened bottle, and pour some into the sprayer bottle. Take note that mister bottles tend to be smaller than a bottle of oil you purchase and refill them from. The oil in the mister is not going to sit in the mister as long as it does in a larger bottle. I keep the mister bottles handy on my kitchen counter on a small tray right next to my Cosori air fryer. They are not in direct sunlight. Frankly, I prefer to see the color and viscosity of my olive oil before I use it. I have had these bottles for a few months now, and I still love them.

YES THEY ARE BREAKABLE....IT'S A THICK GLASS....BUT IF YOU DROP IT ON CERAMIC TILE, I AM SURE YOU'LL HAVE A MESS ON YOUR HANDS!

What is the output volume per spray

Don’t bother purchasing these. One came broken. The other is fine and sprays a little less than a tsp. But, like I said, one of them was useless.
