This was surprising. Having used Col Conk's glycerin soaps before, I didn't have much hope for this in terms of lather. The scent is the first thing you notice, as with all soaps, the sandalwood is nice and not overpowering. Once you start to lather, you get a nice, thick cushioning lather that doesn't dissipate. The overall slickness is good, but not groundbreaking, resulting in a comfortable shave. After the final rinse, my face did feel a little dry so a nice aftershave balm is needed.

This offers me close and comfortable shave. Lather is easily obtain. Just need to add right amount of water. Skins very soft and moisturizer. Fragrance is very nice peasant as well. Takes very little amount for each use. Should last very long time.

I was skeptical to spend $11 on a bar of soap but these things last a long time and i replaced a solid white shaving soap that Ive had for about a year with this and the lather, smoothness and shave are far superior. I used the other one last night and cleaned out the cup and this one today and it is totally worth $11. I was knicking myself around the mouth as well using the same razor and it glided right by the area and left it smooth with no scrape.

Very good soap. Plenty of lather and great scent. Will be buying again.
