Delivered on time. Good quality pliers and rings that work well. Now had the opportunity to use them extensively to attach seagull netting to a cable framework protecting a chimney stack back gutter at roof level. Very effective and definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Excellent tool but still need my individual hog ring pliers for directly Infront crimping as these are at 90degrees to the handles all in all very pleased and are still doing a great job.

Faulty after a few uses, fasteners on the pliers bent. Contacted seller and received no response. Do not buy.

Quick delivery and used it straight away. Not too bad a product but found that when pressing down to clip a mesh fence to existing wire fencing it jammed quite often which was frustrating. Did the job but could be a bit more robust.

By way of context, I bought these for attaching wire mesh to straining wire and for wire fence repairs around the garden, so they get occasional DIY use. Good points first. Comfortable and easy to use and they have a reasonably solid feel to them. The loading mechanism seems a bit clunky until you get the hang of it, but then it’s straightforward. The pliers squeeze the staples into a reasonably small ring making for a neat, quick and effective job and the supplied staples seem robust. The one reservation I have is durability. This is the second pair of these I have ordered - the first pair lasted three-and-a half years. In that time I’ve used most of the 2,500 staples that were supplied with the pliers, but that’s it, so I question how well these would stand up to more frequent/professional use. The issue that I had was that the pliers no longer kept the clip of staples in place (they would spring out of the front of the pliers). Having bought a replacement pair, I was able to see exactly what had happened with the first pair and have adjusted the metal tabs which control the position of the staple magazine and now they work again for now, but I suspect I will need the new pair. I’ve given these four stars because there is a lot to like about them and without spending a lot more I haven’t found an alternative that seem likely to better these. Better durability would have been 5 stars.
