I've owned this charger for years and love the way it works. I bought 2 more. So.... Mr. Prosser said it best and I really can't add anymore to top his review! Read below.... Great 8 port Multi-USB charging station – 5 VDC at 60 Watts total Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2022 Color: white This is the first one I bought. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. This charger works very well at charging nominal 5 VDC USB charged devices. I had no problems charging multiple devices at a time. Some of the reviewers mistakenly gave lower value negative reviews because they do not understand basic electricity so they thought the charger was not working perfectly. The back light LCD display shows the current in amps that a device is accepting during charging. The display does not show the particular V voltage of a device being charged. At the correct charging voltage, a device WILL ONLY accept the current (in A amps) that it can accept. Over the charging cycle time, a device will accept less and less current (in A amps) until it is fully charged to its maximum voltage determined by the battery chemistry. Lithium Ion batteries have very strict charging Voltages and Currents. A lithium Ion battery has its own computer chip IC brain built into it that regulates the charging Voltage and Current input (and output). Just because you have a big ole computer laptop that you are trying to charge up does not mean that the laptop battery will accept a huge charging current all at once. A tiny USB rechargeable bicycle lamp may actually take more charging current than your big ole laptop. Also it is too easy to cram the wrong USB cable into the wrong USB charging port. Of course, the wrong USB cable crammed into the wrong USB port will not work even though the USB cable “seems” to fit tightly. I wish I was King because I would not have allowed all the plethora of proprietary sizes of USB cable ends. Alas I am not King. The European Union has mandated that all USB data and charging cables be the same standard size in the near future so there will not be any charging “mistakes”.

While this items performs very well, the delivery process could've been more efficient. I received 3 different dates on when to expect it to be delivered and it sowed up on an entirely different date.

I got this charger in April 2021. It has a lot of ports to use for charging, and has one plug to power them all. This saves me plugs on the power strip I have so I no longer need multiple chargers. Some things I noticed: - It has a back light which turns off by itself after 1-2 minutes. There is no button to turn the back light back on, you must unplug one of the USB cords, and plug it back into the unit, and the light will turn on again. - There is a display of voltage for the unit as a whole, and watts used for the unit a a whole. There are 8 displays for amps used, one for each port. The decimal point is very hard to see, but by charging one item, and looking at total watts used I can guess where the decimal point should be. So if voltage is showing 5.17vdc, and 3.6watts, then the amps used are 0.7amps. So the display for amps is showing one digit, a decimal, and then one digit. - I ran 2 devices plugged into this, one is an LED light (0.4amps) and the other is charging a power bank at 0.7amps. It works fine and used 5.7watts at this point. - I have other devices to plug into this like a USB clock (great for if the power goes out then I just use a power bank to power it), and USB fan. - I plugged in the USB fan and started it up. The charger showed an output of 7.8watts, and the voltage was stable at 5.25vdc. - CONS: I plugged in a USB meter and a USB load and put the amps used to 1.5 amps but the charger display showed 2.0amps. The amp display does not seem accurate over 1.5amps. - The directions that came in the box say all ports are rated at 2.4a each. This part is true, at 2.4a draw the voltage was still 4.98vdc but this charger display said 3.1amps.
