My First Busy Book (The World of Eric Carle)

This book is well made and my young kids (4 and 3) have loved this since they were babies. The wide variety of animals in the book and the interactive pages have held their attention.

Eric Carle has always been a favorite among children and parents, but this time I think he has outdone himself! I bought this as part of a beginner's library for a young friend's baby shower and I couldn't be happier with the purchase! Inside this hardcover gem are things to feel, trace, count, and peer into. The colors are vibrant and engaging. Parents and children could spend many hours pouring over the pages repeatedly at various developmental stages always finding something new to discover.

We had this book for our littles and bought this copy for a friends little boy. He LOVES it as much as my kids did. Very interactive and engaging.

This is a very cute, well made, Eric Carle graphic board book. It seems durable enough to keep in the car for entertainment on the go (=my plan). My daughter is fascinated with it. I love that it’s colorful and fun with a learning angle. Came on time & in pristine condition.

Most board books are a smaller size; this one is bigger, which is great. Baby Girl (11 months) loves the mirror part of the book and the colorful pictures. I am impressed with the textures that they added. I can see how, for tactile learners, that would be a great option/addition. I'm a little disappointed in the one small lift-the-flap option in the book--it could have been done better.

Awesome book for Eric Carle fans and any toddlers! Learning numbers, shapes, and animals with sensory textures on the pages - very engaging and great for independent learning.

I love this book- it's another great Eric Carle work. Cute pages, with the usual brightly colored illustrations that my 2 year old loves. First page is shapes, another page has numbers, then colors and animals. It's really well done, except that for a busy book... it only has a few pages and that doesn't keep my son busy for more than a few minutes. I really wish it had more pages than just 4 or 5 that it has. Great idea though.

Took this on our vacation and my son stayed busy with this book for a good chunk of our plane ride.

思っていたより大きくて嬉しいです。大きめなので数人への読み聞かせにも良さそうです。穴が空いていたり鏡が付いていたり、ふわふわの毛が付いていたり、めくるとネズミがいたり…しかけ色々で楽しいです。

The sturdy design is perfect for little hands, and the familiar characters from Eric Carle’s books make it even more enjoyable. It’s a great book for keeping toddlers entertained while also helping them learn through play, I just wish it had more pages and activities, my daughter who is 3 completed it quickly.
