Good value, and decent enough quality
The wires are not as thick as other power supply brands but i do like that at least they are not ketchup and mustard colors and they work really well out of box with no issues. I buy these often for builds that people dont have it in the budget to buy an expensive name brand psu. The only con is probably that it only has one dual 4pin pci e cable so this would only be good for low to medium gpus. You could always use an adapter if your gpu doesnt draw too much power and would still be a budget choice.

Great Product, Great Price and Great Service
I purchased this PSU for my home server build, product arrived quickly and worked perfectly. I have had to go through Apevias' customer support once before on a different PSU and they were nothing but helpful and understanding, they won my business after that which is what directly lead to this purchase. Customer service is everything!

Amazing Deal! Can't beat it.
swapped my fatal1ty ocz 1000w for this since, 1000 was over kill for this build. 28$ for 500w is amazing and the wires are black not mustard and ketchup. much quieter, cooler and economic. would buy another one for sure.

It only lasted 15 minutes
The unit arrived on time and in good shape. It was very easy to install. The noise level when it worked was dead quiet. You can not hear the fan on this unit. That is as far as the good comments go. Don't buy this! Your computer is worth more than a $27 power supply. It only lasted 15 minutes in my Xeon server build, then it made a loud snap/pop noise along with a shower of sparks, let the smoke out of teh box and quit working. You can forget about overcurrent protection, the only way this unit protects itself is by self destructing with a smoke and light show. ANYTHING that you want to power, even that old computer in the corner that you want to fire up again is worth getting a better power supply than this.

Good psu, don’t recommend for gaming
Great PSU for cheap older pcs with great build quality and a quiet fan, yet I made the mistake of cheaping out on my PSU for my gaming rig. It works great on smaller games and lower loads, yet during heavy load on games like warzone, the pc started to restart. Its not a bad psu since it hasn't fried any components yet don't buy it for a gaming rig.

Good value for money
Very reasonably priced, of course you should understand that it is a budget PSU for a budget PC, definitely a good surprise it came with a black cables instead orange, black and red they pictured in the description. Please note it is for a budget systems with total peak consumption at 300w maximum, no Xeon or Intel Extreme CPU which requires 150-240w 40a on CPU power line!!!!

Works - and hasn't blown up yet!
I used this to replace a dead stock PSU from a circa 2010 computing system. I'm pleasantly surprised with how quiet it is. Almost no noise at all - though it could just be the old one was very loud and everything is relative. Either way, I'm just happy nothing burned down.

Blew under heavy load.
For the price point I would say this is ok, however the PSU blew up before turning off instead of using a failsafe, in fairness I was pulling 'almost' like 350-400w from the unit when it gave up catastrophically, I was using a Intel i5-8600k and an ARC GPU with an AIO pump. just something for you to think about before risking the equipment in your PC like I did, but if you have a really low power system then sure! it should be fine...
