I've never seen a plastic line make it more than a year and this copper last until stupid
"Last until stupid" is a key element to a copper line like this. Until you get stupid and do something stupid it will last forever. I've even been able to re-seal it without a new feral (more than once). Those plastic line kits never make it long.Lesson learned with the plastic line again, it made it half way through summer on my tractor - never install a oil gauge with plastic line - buy the copper from the start.

It's a good solution
The Bosch gague set I bought had plastic tubing. THis kit provided the copper tube and a good assortment of fittings to solve my installation problems. It's not cheap but did the job.

Just what I was needing!!
I was needing a new line to run to a old Stuart Warner gauge and this was just what I was looking for. Really didn't want to use the cheap plastic line for a fresh engine rebuild, heard too many horror stories about those. Item was great, the box that it came in not so much. Look like it may have gotten run over or something.

much better then the plastic tubing
I have had the plastic tubing fail on my fuel pressure gauge which sprayed my engine compartment with diesel. I was concerned with the copper hardening with vibration so I slid a 1/4" tubing over the outside to dampen movement. Good so far.

I wanted copper instead of plastic.
My son and I are restoring an old JD 350 loader and I had a plastic oil pressure line but I wanted it to last for him so I bought this kit. Worked great.
