Beats buying at the dealer. Great value. My attachment point/cord broke. Seals properly seems of good quality.

Had a constant error on the screen of my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 "tighten gas cap" for about a month or two. I would take off the cap and retighten it but it always came back on. eventually made my check engine light come on (which it clearly states right on the cap itself". I never had a check engine light on that truck nefore, anyway I checked the code with a reader and it was an evap fuel system code so I changed the cap and cleared the code about a week later now the code never reappeared so far so good. I have learned from experience never buy anything but OEM replacement parts . this is an official gm part and the price between OEM and not was very minimal. if your getting that error on your vehicles screen start by changing the cap and also clean the rim of the fill tube the cap sits on mine had a little bit of corrosion and between that and the old hardened gasket on the original cap probably didn't make a good seal causing that error code

Cap is fine, it works. Line that attaches to it is to short.
