Great mop and dry robot vac
This is my first mop and dry robot vac. I do own another dry robot vac (DeBot) that I'm pretty happy with but this thing is WAY FASTER than the Debot. I was excited to see the mop feature and it works really well on our luxury vinyl (wood plank look) floors. It's not a perfect thing - similar to our Debot it gets stuck under the couch - goes up to climb over the bar/legs and gets stuck inside. I'd rather it doesn't try to climb over things as it gets more stuck on area rugs and is very rarely successful when trying to climb. Wish there was a setting - no climb mode! Then it would work better. As far as a dry vac it works a bit better than my less expensive DeBot - picks up dirt as well or better but this thing is much FASTER! Cleans in half the time of the Debot. Speed should be a star criteria! As far as mopping this is my first mop robot vac. The "cartridges" are easy to change - one for dry (like my Debot) to empty the dirt out and one for wet - you add water and a small amount of solution and it has spinning washable pads. Cleans really well. Granted we don't have filthy dirty floors but we do have a small dog and we cook a lot so the machine does very well on lightly dirty floors. Haven't tried to spot cleaning for area cleaning on dirty floors.+Cleans QUICKLY. This thing is fast+Wet cleaning works well+Dry cleaning works well+Wet/dry "cartridges" are easy to change+Dry bin easy to empty/clean+Mop pads are machine washable and it came with 2+Double click to return home works well-Have to manually change "cartridge" between a wet/dry cleaning. Would be nice if it vacuumed then mopped on its own as you need to babysit it after it's done to change it out.-Gets stuck under my couch. I don't want it to climb over things - it gets stuck. Wish there was a way to turn off the "climb" mode. Stay flat on the floor and please don't climb over things - it just gets stuck (on my couch legs) or more stuck into the rug.-Gets stuck on area rugs. Need to pick them up before you vacuum or mop-No mapping. This would solve my issue of it getting stuck under my couch.Haven't downloaded the app yet

Waste of money
Update again: Now it doesn’t work at all.Update: The solution is to put the wet mop cartridge in, let it run for a few seconds, put the dry cartridge back in and let it run. It’s weird but it works. But now I have to do this every single time I want it to vacuum. For this much money, it’s stupid that I have to jump through these hoops.Edit: Stopped working after just two months. It starts to act like it’s running, and then it just starts beeping. The app says it has “low suction” but there are no blockages anywhere. Will update if customer service ever gets back to me.This thing has made my life so much easier. I have two mischievous husky girls and two even more mischievous human boys. All four of them are known to make messes bigger than they are. This thing is ready to handle it all (without even whining if I run it 3 times in one day!)I like a clean home. It makes me feel good. But I have 4 mess makers and I use a wheelchair so it has been impossible to keep up with by myself. This vacuum mop has made a gigantic difference. It's the only one I found that actually vacuums while it is mopping. Even if I have the floor freshly vacuumed before running the mop, the furry girls will drop hair somewhere, so it is nice that this machine picks up the hair before going over it with a mop. I was worried about any mop I got just smearing wet hair all over my floor.I also like that this thing can sense the difference between hardwood floor and carpet. It never runs over my rugs or my carpet when it's on the mopping function.I have not had a robot mop before, but I have had another vacuuming robot. This is much quieter than the last one. Night and day different. I couldn't watch a movie with the last one running, but I canwith this one. And I can have it run while the dogs are asleep in the same room without a problem.I do recommend buying extra mop pads. I like to run the mop at least once a day, and then I just throw the pads in the washer when they're done. The only complaint I have, is that it doesn't usually get all the floor. It gets stuck in the bathroom, OR it skips a portion of the floor that needed to be done. I don't understand its mapping sensors. All in all, this was a great purchase. When it breaks, and I don't see that happening anytime soon, I will buy a new one from this brand.

Bissell Knows How To Clean
I'm comparing this with the Deebot which I returned. The Deebot was easily three times the price and jsut didn't work at all. Some of what I hated about the Deebot; it had a complicated app and you needed to train the bot on the areas to clean. There was a lack of any type of organized pattern when cleaning - it just rolled around in circles and missed huge areas in the single small room that I confined it to. It couldn't figure out how to go home and got stuck on it's own base. The cleaning was totally inadequate - if you clean your floor by lightly dragging a low pile wet rag without any cleaner on it, then the Deebot is for you. It basically smeared the floor with the filth that it picked up. Finally, the Deebot got stuck on literally everything. I named it "slow and stupid" in the app. The Bissell doesn't need training. It moves back and forth in a logical pattern. The spinny cloths are nappy and actually absorb the dirt. You can put cleaning fluid right in the tank. The vacuum is in the front and the wet cleaning follows behind. The vacuum includes a roller brush as well as the side sweepers and the suction is great. I feel like the other robots focus on the robotic features and put zero thought into the cleaning functionality. Bissell's features focus on cleaning first. If you want something functional, get the Bissell. It's much cheaper and works so much better. The app is simple. I use it to start a cleaning cycle and to tell it to go back home. I'm really happy with my Bissell SpinWave.
