I really liked the idea of the template and not making 2 separate pompoms for each cat. If you are used to making pompoms the instructions are fairly easy, in picture form. As you can see by the photos the wool is a bit skimpy, but I added some of my own. The end result with the grey one is a rather fat cat! 😸. Perhaps not a kit for small children or novices, but a good buy for me. I would recommend for someone e with a little time and patience to work it out.The dye on the black wool came off on my hands so would be wary of giving this one as a gift. They don't seem to stand on the feet provided, but maybe that will work better with gluing. The cats are unfinished. I need to add eyes, whiskers, nose and white top lip. Finished in the last photo. Pleased with the result

The instructions are literally useless. No words and confusing images. We have given up and will probably never try them again. Two disappointed little girls who were excited to do this as a home schooling craft project.
