It needs to be diluted with water before using it.I use a ZEP 32 oz spray bottle, add the shampoo concentrate then add water to make 32 ounces, and it’s ready to use. It lathers surprisingly well for being a plant derived solution and it makes the coat soft, shiny, and smelling fresh. I like this shampoo so much that I started adding it to my puppy kits for my clients.

I’ve been using this dog shampoo for several years and won’t use anything else. Love the smell as it’s not a chemical or fragranced perfume smell. No irritants like a lot of other dog shampoos. If your dog has itchy skin, this is the shampoo to use. Cleans really well, a little goes a long way. Also love the powder for in between shampoo freshness. Love this product/s.

I love this product and it smells really good. I've only use it once but so far I'm happy I gave this product a try.

A little goes a long way. A lifetime of product. I wish I could buy 2 oz of this stuff. It would last me a year. Split it with friends. It's extremely thick and you need 4:1 water with it. Smells fine, cleans fine. No irritants.

I absolutely loved this stuff. And so did my doh. The price crept from 8 to 12 to and then $18 a bottle and I still bought it until I just could not afford to. I'm a label reader, but for whatever reason I never read this items list of ingredients. I could have kicked my own ass ! Now I save money & make my own! I bought supplies (all household kitchen products easily found) and spent $11. This made about 100 times the amount sold for $18 in a small container. Their "proprietary blend" may not be exact but I get same results and of course your dog loves it because you are rubbing their bellies and backs when you put it on. So my opinion is Yes these everyday household products that Coat Defense has blended ,and bottled works well on dogs. I just cannot bring myself to spend twenty dollars on 6 Oz of baking soda. So I'd say they are grossly overpricing this product. Wish I'd have read the label sooner.

I don't always leave reviews, but I'm kind of amazed by this shampoo.Our German Shepherd pup has an itchy skin condition and we're trying to figure out what the cause is. He's been on prescription food and shampoo for 6 weeks and the all over rash has dried up, but he's scabby and very yeasty smelling. Although this shampoo didn't completely get rid of the smell, after only one bath, the scabs and dry skin is sloughing off so much, it's incredible! I can't wait for the next bath!!
