These vents are great for covering your eve vents to help make you home more "firewise". The screen fabric is metal, not plastic. As others had noted in reviews, if the randomly placed stickers are on the front, you cannot remove them without scratching the paint. I found it fairly easy to remove the stickers on the back by heating them slightly with a heat gun. Fortunately, we were painting them a different color anyway.

WORKED PERFECTLY FOR MY APPLICATION

These painted aluminum vents have a very durable screen on the back with 1/8" x 1/8" square openings, and are well made - which makes them ideal for salty air high humidity environments like Hawaii, Florida, and other locations with similar environments.. Vents of similar dimensions found at local Home Depot & Lowe's stores were not aluminum, not as durable, & cost 3 or 4 times as much!

White label on back of each and every vent cover is a chore to remove. 😬

Had to replace vents that had rusted or damaged by birds and squirrels. Perfect fit.

To Manufacturers:Stop placing antitheft stickers on every individual item!! These things cost two and half dollars a piece!
