South Your Mouth: Tried & True Southern Recipes

I enjoyed reading through recipes. Easy to prepare. I would definitely recommend both the book and the seller.

I first found Mandy on Pinterest. I had tried a couple of recipes that I enjoyed. I purchased this book even though the recipes are free to print. I wanted to say thanks for providing the recipes for free. This is my way of a little support. This cookbook is like all of the others in the fact that you have to tweek the recipes to your final taste. It's good to have it in print with the color photos.

This has become one of my new favorite cookbooks. Having moved from the Pacific Northwest to the South, it's a completely different culinary experience - I really love Southern food and wanted to know how to make everything! This has been my "go to" cookbook (and I have many, MANY cookbooks) for quite a while. I love that it has everything from appetizers to desserts, and nothing is too "over the top" complicated or uses hard to find ingredients. I love the Charleston Crab Cakes, the Baked Onion Rings and the Sweet Potato Casserole - Mandy Rivers is helping me on my way to "cooking Southern".

This is my second copy. I like the first one so much, I bought this to keep in my car so I have all recipe ingredient lists available to stop in the grocery store on the drive home from work. I'm not the plan ahead type of cook.

I have only been looking through this cookbook and so far it looks like it has a lot of good recipes. The only complaint I have is that when looking at the index pages in the front of each section some of the recipes aren't on the pages they say they are on. In one recipe there is a seasoning mix for that recipe and a page number is given to find the recipe for that mix and I have yet to find it. Not huge problems, but still very annoying.

This is a wonderful cookbook for working parents! Recipes are easy to follow and use ingredients that most people keep on hand in their pantry. I recommend this to everyone. I've bought several of these books as gifts as well. Cant wait until Mandy Rivers publishes a second cook book! Oh, and by the way, the Creamy Rotel Sausage Dip is AH-MAZ-ING! ;)

Oh my goodness! Love this book. Recipes are good southern cooking. I saw this book at Myrtle Beach but didn't buy it at the time. After pondering, I found it on Amazon and am so glad I purchased it. Some recipes are old favorites I had forgotten, good appetizers, etc. This will be my "go to" cookbook for a long time.
