Works great
I have had this for a few days and it works as advertised. It has an A/B switch so you can only use one of the split monitors at a time so you want the splitter to be easily accessible to make the selection. Since 2 ports are one and the other port is on the other side of the unit its a bit tough to get it to sit neatly it would be better if all 3 Also you will need and extra video display cable to make this work because all of the ports are female, it would be nice if they included a short that cord with this to be able to split the signal directly from the box. I cant yet speak about how it will hold up after a longer period of usage but so far so good.

Great when it works
When it works, it works great, but it seems very finicky about which GPUs or cables work properly. If the image cuts out try reordering your DP cables or changing which GPU and/or monitor ports you use. Was very unreliable on one machine, but not the other until I shuffled cables around and now using the same cables, same computer, and same monitor it works just fine? Very weird.

4k 120hz display port
This review applies to pretty much all of these "rebranded" switches. Yes, it does work at 4k 120hz (it also works at 144hz at 4k). I have three monitors running at this resolution and I use two for the main PC and I swap them to the work PC. This is my need of this item, easy input switching. The problem with these is that they do cause flickering. Its not super frequent but its enough to be annoying. I bought two of these and now I find myself not using them anymore because I was just annoyed with my monitors flickering. I know, I know, people will say "Oh you didnt have the right cable... etc" but I have spent $100s on cables and I am using the right cables. I have 8k cables that support 8k at 60hz just fine. The problem is just display port switches in general are not at the point yet to be able to fully support 120-144hz on 4k. If you really need a switch, go check out some of the $200+ switches, they can support it without issues but these cheaper ones will give you a pain. Side note, if you are running 2k 144hz+ this thing works PERFECT. I did end up downgrading my resolution for a few months just to get rid of the flickering. So, thats pretty much it, if you are in the market for this, its not just this item, its the technology for the price, its just not there. Dont waste your money on this or any others if you are in need of 4k 120-144hz unless you want a bit of a hassle. If you can deal with it, then it does work but Im just picky I suppose.

Ultimately did not work
Long story short: Product was defective, did not work.Longer story: I looked far and wide for a display port switch that would support DP 1.4. It seems there aren't many choices, and this one seemed like the best bet. My use case was having 1 input and 2 outputs I could switch between. All cables I worked with were new and proven to be working perfectly.I started with a DP 1.4 in, DP 1.4 and DP 1.2 out. I experienced a loss of signal ever couple seconds, it simply didn't work. I decided to trust the advice of the product and only use DP 1.4 cables. I bought more DP 1.4 cables, certified they worked on their own, then switched the DP 1.4 out for the new DP 1.4. This seemed to fix the problem, I was now able to switch back and forth (IMPORTANT: Although I could switch back and forth, my windows 10 OS would not detect a change in monitor. It thought that only one of the monitors remained connected. for example, to get it to recognize the new monitor, I would switch to monitor B on the DP switch, the signal would go to monitor B but windows would still think monitor A was connected, so I would turn off monitor B, turn it back on, and then windows would detect the change to monitor B and make the according adjustments. This wasn't too much a hassle so I was still happy with the DP switch.)So after making sure only DP 1.4 cables were being used, I thought everything was working and I was happy. I then noticed my video signal was receiving a lot of noise. lots of pixels changing constanstly, looked like noise. Took the DP switch out of my system and noise went away. So ultimately, it came close to doing it's job, but the visual noise is a big problem for me and so it seems ultimately I got a product that was defective.

Use EXACTLY as directed
You have to use this without straying a single bit from the instructions. Every port along the way (except for the monitor), has to be displayport 1.4. NO MATTER WHAT. I was trying to connect a 27" 1440p 144hz gaming monitor to this to switch between my gaming PC and a docking station I use for my work laptop. Everything worked fine with my PC, but the docking station would cause epileptic levels of screen flickering. I did some digging and found out that the docking station has displayport 1.2 outputs (Dell D6000). I swapped it out with a better one we have at work (WD19TB) that runs off of thunderbolt 3 and has displayport 1.4 ports. WORKED LIKE A CHARM!! I'm able to run the monitor at full spec now without a single bit of flickering or artifacts on the display. So, do yourself a favor and make sure all of your components are displayport 1.4 compatible or it will guaranteed not work at some point.TLDR; Every component has to have DP 1.4 ports for this to work (except the monitor). Including all adapters, KVMs, and display switches

Great for 4K UHD at 120 Hz
I bought this switch specifically because I wanted to do high end gaming on my gaming rig and then switch to my business laptop to do work. It works great. Both PCs support 4K UHD, but it was important that this switch supports 4K UHD 3840x2160 at 120 Hz or better for my gaming rig.It is very important that you are using 4K UHD DisplayPort 1.4 or better cables to get the full bandwidth out of this switch. The cables have to be able to handle the bandwidth. In my case, I went with JSAUX 8K UHD DisplayPort cables which probably overkill, but it works.

Losing video connection after two months (Found out why)
After two months of good use, the video connection has begun to fail. I see flashing white lines and then it loses signal for a second then comes back. It is very unstable. I tried brand new certified DisplayPort cables and it did not resolve the issue. I do not recommend this DisplayPort switch.Update: I found out the reason the connection became unstable is because I got a new monitor with 144hz. Once I forced the refresh rate to lower to 100hz, the connection was stable again. So I am changing my review to reflect what it was described to do.

pratico Displayport Switch Splitter
