Nice looking piece of junk with terrible functionality
Basically, it's a nice looking piece of junk with terrible functionality. Interior is NOT ALL SPANISH CEDAR, it's mostly particle board made to look like cedar with several real cedar inserts to make it air tight. Particle board doesn't keep humidity. Cigars don't care about exterior looks, they need consistent humidity. Otherwise, your investment in premium cigars is a waste of time and they will all go bad. Hygrometer is junk and doesn't work. Also, Lower drawer measures over 2 inches tall and takes up way too much space for a 1/4 inch think cutter or 1/2 inch thick lighter.Picture of drawer and cedar divider: Side by Side comparison of cedar divider next to drawer. This material also coats the bottom and sides of the humidor inside as well. You can see the natural cedar has grains even on the cut sides of the wood, the pressed particle board does not have grains and looks almost like 1 solid color. That is because it's pressed particle board. When wiping this humidor down with Humi-care seasoning wipes the bottom of the humidor, sides and drawer didn't even get wet. Cedar turns a darker color when it is wiped with moisture. The only pieces of this humidor that changed color were the dividers and top pieces of cedar used to seal the humidor. The rest wouldn't absorb any moisture at all. It felt like I was wiping plastic down with a wet cloth when trying to season it.Hygrometer pictures- Side by side comparison of properly calibrated digital hygrometer verses analog hygrometer that came with the box. The reason why the digital one reads 76% in one picture and 75% in the other is because I had just wiped the entire box with a Humi-care wipe. When the digital Hygrometer was sitting on the tray there was more mositure on it because it had just been wiped. After I lifted it off the dray humidity dropped from 76% down to 75%. In a matter of an hour after closing the humidor, the total humidity drops down to 55% and you can't get it to stabilize. I wiped this box down twice and put trays of Propylene Glycol solution inside. This thing does not hold humidity.Drawer picture and picture of humidor drawer holder-Shows how the draw sags down when opened. When you look at the actual support the drawer sits on you can see it's pressed wood. This is normally fine as long as the humidor is cedar lined but in this case, it's clearly not.You want a good humidor? Purchase the one by Cuban Crafters that is the Blue/ Azul one. That one is awesome and it's truly real cedar inside. It held 75% humidity after being wiped down once with a Humi-care seasoning wipe and leaving it overnight with a tray of Propylene Glycol Solution. I purchased this because I wanted to get a Hygrometer reading without having to open the humidor. My mistake, I will likely purchase the Cuban Crafters Blue/ Azul one again because of how well it was constructed. Both of these humidors were made in China but even China has certain companies that manufacture to higher quality standards. Clearly this humidor was manufactured very cheaply and it shows.

Not as pictured
First off, the hygrometer is not on the outside. This was one of the main selling points for me. According to previous reviews that had pictures it was on the outside just as pictured. Must be a new design. I know humidors vary in price, but I expected something much nicer for the price. The appearance is lovely. Very nice looking box, however it appears to be very cheaply made. The small compartment on the bottom (for lighters, cutters, ect) will fall right out. So don't pull to far. If this had not been purchased with a gift card I would probably be returning it, but as is it didn't cost me much I'll give it a go. As long as it will hold humidity and keep my cigars fresh I will be somewhat satisfied.

Looks almost perfect on the shelf
Everything is great except there is a slight crack in the hydrometer though doesn't seem to affect the performance. While my goal is for ~72%RH I am finding that it is staying at 69%RH both on the included hydrometer and an electronic one I added.
