Great replacement battery for DC58
I have a Dyson DC58 handheld vacuum (car+boat) and the original battery died after using it only maybe a dozen times. Contacting Dyson, it would cost $260 to get a new vacuum (it wasn't under warranty anymore) or $90 (with a 10% discount) to get a new battery. I figured Amazon would have a replacement battery for much cheaper and decided on this one. Shipping was fast, replacement was easy, and it works like a champ! And it came charged and ready to go! Much better than shelling out $90 for the name brand!

Battery will not hold charge after a few months
It worked initially, but after a few cycles of charges it will not hold a charge. It will now deplete in about 3 minutes. Tried to contact the seller, however no replies from the seller. The force required to turn the vacuum on is also significantly larger with this battery.Lesson learned.
