Docs
Been wearing docs for years the quality has went down since moving the operations to China but overall still enough quality to stay $175 and will last a year in a fast paced factory environment. I did notice they upgraded the soles that now have better traction yet to be determined how this will do over the course of the year IMO there is no better looking boot and have a wide base so never feel the steel on the sides very comfortable on concrete for long periods

Dr Marten's OG quality
I was glad to find these 1460 steel toes online. DR Martens take a minute to break in but you will have them for a long time. Great for work and or for dress.

It’s a steel boot
If you have never worn steel toe boots, these will feel bigger than regular Dr Marten boots. Because of the steel toe, the toe box is much roomier. About a couple of weeks of getting use to. So far I have been wearing these more then my regular Doc’s. And they are very comfortable.

A great boot!
I work for a heavy equipment rental company and I wanted a boot that I’m used to wearing (I have the non-steel tipped docs for everyday wear), so I decided to try these for work. I got the boots and tried them on and BOY OH BOY I’M IN LOVE! Nice thick sole, comfortable, and definitely worth the money. These are going to be my go-to boots from now on.

Good for work
These are not the Docs from my grunge days. Those are basically unavailable now since DM moved most production to Asia. My son got a pair of the "fashion" Docs and this pair is better made and has better leather than what he got. I work in a print shop and the boots have held up pretty well. I've tried a few things to eliminate the squeak including mink oil, neetsfoot oil, and leather lotion to no avail. They're just squeaky boots but I really don't notice that when the printing press is running. They clean up pretty well. I'm happy with them.

Should have bought these sooner
I’ve been wearing work boots for 25 years. I love these. Most comfortable steel toe boots I have owned. They fit well and look great with jeans and gray work pants. I have been wearing these on my off days too. Definitely have a cool factor. The leather finish is good but I will have scuff and scratches in no time- but that is what they are for. I also like the non-slip soles. I work in a variety of environments. These boots are good for warehouse, manufacturing, lab, industrial, even kitchens. Probably not the best boots for an outdoor construction site but will work for interior commercial construction. They do squeak for almost two weeks while the leather is breaking in.

A little stiff at first but great once broken in.
I've always been a fan of Dr. Marten's so maybe I'm a little bias. I've been looking to get a new pair to use on my motorcycle and decided that this was the one. I also work in a Federal industrial area and I'm required to wear PPE's like safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and gloves. These boots fill the safety standards that is required for work and I'm very happy with the look of it as well. However, They were a little stiff when I first wore them so I had to do a few things first. Some people may not agree on my methods but I've done this before on my boots while I was in the military. I took very hot, slightly soapy water and gave these boots a good long soak. I then rinsed them out with cold water, drain, pat dry. I then applied a leather conditioner normally used on old leather baseball gloves while the boots are a little damp. This allows the leather to become more flexible and a little softer once it is fully dry as the conditioner is better able to penetrate the leather. Leave it someplace dry and out of direct sunlight. Once fully dry inside and out , applied saddle soap to the outer surface and buff polish to complete. Now they are perfect for me!

Was good for the first 6 months or so...
As the title says was good then the backs on the inside started tearing up making it a pain to take my boots off and what is supposed to be water proof is no longer the case as water soaks the inside through the soles if both boots. This is absolutely unacceptable for the price of these with no warranty that I can see. Not worth it so I guess it's back to cheaply made walmart boots...
