A Lifesaver for Anyone Allergic to Poison Ivy (Like Me!)
My doctor originally gave me a sample of Marie’s Original Poison Ivy Soap Bar, and I ended up loving it so much that I had to buy the full size. It’s incredibly easy to use, especially if you're allergic to poison ivy like I am. Any time I think I might have brushed up against poison ivy or poison oak, I use this right away and it gives me so much peace of mind. It smells good, doesn’t leave my skin feeling weird or dried out, and honestly just works. The only thing I wish is that they made a body wash version instead of just the bar—but if that’s my only complaint, that says a lot! If you’re prone to bad reactions or just want something reliable to use after yard work or hiking, this is definitely worth keeping on hand.

This works wonders and it’s natural! 10/10!!! Buy 2!
If you have a poison ivy rash, buy 2 of these! They work wonders! I had a severe allergic reaction to poison ivy/Brazilian Peppertree and was trying everything, but nothing was working. I even got prescribed a topical steroid which made my skin even more irritated. This Marie’s soap bar did the trick and felt so good on my rash and skin! The one coarse side felt wonderful on the rash and the smooth side was comforting and soothing. I say buy two because if your rash was as bad as mine, you’ll go thru the first bar and need more. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who is dealing with poison ivy! A terrific product! Natural and effective! And the price is extremely reasonable!

LIFE SAVER!!! Seriously!
Let me start off with saying I have always gotten poison ivy since a child. It was so common the pediatrician would just call me in a steroid. It always spreads and it’s super itchy! I’ve had it twice this WINTER already! The first time I had to get a steroid and an antibiotic and even that didn’t help it go away quickly! When I got it again I thought I’d would give this a try because the Zanfel is at least $40 and there’s NEVER enough to last more than a few days. I honestly didn’t see a lot of improvement with it anyway. It was starting to spread so I took a chance on this! I figured since it had a scrubbing side it would feel similar to Zanfel but last longer. I was wrong! It’s WAY BETTER THAN ZANFEL!!! I used it as directed and within 24 hours, it was NOT spreading any further, AND it stopped the itching which was waking me up at night! The rash is fading quickly! I’ve used the bar of soap once one Monday and just twice a day after that. A few of the days I put Bentonite clay (Indian healing clay) on a cotton ball and dabbed on top of the soap to honestly dry it a little quicker and it also dries it up and pairs well with the soap! The poison ivy is almost gone and it’s only been less than 5 days! That has never happened to me before! Way better than anything I’ve ever used and I have tried EVERYTHING! It’s a smaller bar but it goes a long way! I will be stocking up for summer time! Thank you for making this!!

Save me few times!
This is great I got it for my husband who does yard work. Just in case to carry with him. It does melt if it get too hot.... has two sides to bar and still works well when it did melt. Doesn't dry skin out even let it stay on skin until was done with yard. It is very convenient in size to put in bag and go about day. Again it will melt so I have new one in an airtight container incase it does melt

Wonderful Product
This product works! My sister told me about it because we both get poison ivy or poison oak easily. I had been cleaning up the backyard and ran into the dried vines. Itchy patches started to break out between my fingers, on my ankles and arms. I tried many products but when my sister recommended this product, I had to order it. When the soap came in, I put it on my itchy patches, and they stopped itching. The next morning, even the redness was disappearing. I will keep this soap on hand and whenever I am working outside, I will be washing with it. Thank you for a wonderful product.

Oh, Sweet Relief!
Finally! I had been using Fels Naptha Laundry Soap to dry up the poison ivy because it was 1.) easily and quickly obtainable and 2.) it worked great in the past. It was not working this time. But THIS soap did! The rough side felt SO GOOD on both the itchy patches of active poison ivy and the dried up patches. I did not add a second lather and leave it on as an option, but used a home remedy of betonite clay, witch hazel, and eucalyptus oil (which I had on hand, but calamine works as well if you don’t. DO NOT use lotions with antihistamine topically if you are already taking one orally) and that helped later in the day when I did not have time do the wash, wait, rinse on the large area I had it on. I did use His Majesty’s Jewelweed Salve on the dried, cracked areas and it was soothing, but it did not help much with the active sites.

Worked at first..
I had a HUGE rash on my arm that was pretty bad, and after exfoliating and applying this soap bar, I could tell the swelling went down and it wasn't burning and itching as much. I'm not sure how, but I keep getting these little red bumps everywhere that want to turn into another rash spot. And for some reason, the soap isn't working as well after trying to deal with more rashes that recently popped up. The issue is that if you have a rash in a place where your clothes will rub up against, it'll remove the soap application and continue to burn and itch. You're supposed to lather the soap on the area of rash and let it dry on the skin, but depending on location of rash, like if it's on your arm, it easily wipes off onto things you contact (sitting on the couch with your arm on the armrest, for example). At first it seemed to be a miracle, but at second and third that miracle seemed to fizzle. I'm still furiously itchy.
