I am very satisfied with this zinc supplement. The main advantage is the form (TRAACS Bisglycinate Chelate), which is highly absorbable. The dosage of 25mg is very well-selected. It’s not an excessive amount like many other brands offer, which is crucial. At this dosage, there is no risk of inducing copper deficiency, which often happens when taking overly high doses of zinc. A high-quality and safe product. Highly recommend.

Bought this after reading zinc is great for acne sufferers. I knew I needed something internal as I was using all types of topicals and it just didn't seem to clear it up. My skin was so raw, red, dry/cracked, and irritated from constantly using benzoyl peroxide/salicylic acid/retinol/sulfur and no amount of moisturizer alleviated it. I started taking the zinc vitamins May 14th and it's now almost a full month and I've seen such a huge improvement in my skin. Not only have the breakouts subsided, my skin in general has healed and seems way more healthier. A lot of the post-acne discoloration and dark spots have faded and I don't deal with the overly dried out skin anymore. I take 1 pill every night before bed and supplement it with 2mg of Copper. So far, this has proven the best results in the 5 months I've been trying to get rid of this acne. The vitamin absorbs well and I had no side-effects whatsoever.

Do not take high dose zinc for a long time!!! This product and likely anything above 100% RDA will gradually produce a copper deficiency unless you eat liver on a regular basis. A copper deficiency can, in combination with other poor habits, lead to cryptic and unpleasant conditions. Zinc supplementation is fairly unique in this regard, for being an unannounced footgun if you are not already aware of its interaction with copper. (Excess zinc, like this product provides, causes gut cells to initiate a metal binding/cleanup process to blunt the unnecessary amount, which incidentally also blunts copper. In natural conditions, the two always come paired in a reasonable ratio. Vast majority of people don't have enough copper intake to afford that loss, and so any copper requiring enzymes in your body can become incapacitated.)

I received this product at a discount in order to try it. I have used other products by Pure Micronutrients before, and have been very pleased with their supplements, so I was excited to see that they have a Liposomal Vtiamin C, and really happy for the coupon to try it. I have been taking Liposomal Vitamin C for about 6 months, and the other brands I've taken have been good, but very pricey, and some of them are a lot of trouble to take. I really like the fact that this one is in a capsule--it doesn't need refrigeration, and doesn't need to be mixed with anything to take it. It's very handy, and very easy to take. I particularly like the fact that it is almost half the cost of the one I had recently been taking! I will definitely purchase this again!
