Wishbone And The Amazing Odyssey (Win/ Mac)

I could give it 5 stars just for being Wishbone, but it earns those stars in other ways as well. Considering the age of the program, the graphics are really nice (sort of coloring-book-ish) and the game is fun. Wishbone's humor is not left out of his journey.I have this installed on a 23 1/2 year old Macintosh (with various upgrades) running system 8.6. I tried installing it on the 7.1.2 partition but kept getting errors. I suspect that's more of a flaky OS issue because when I installed it on the "new" 8.6 partition it worked fine.I don't know if the online component of this still works or not since that machine doesn't have internet access (and the one that does is much too new to run this). Once I get the Mac that will run OS9 AND do internet up and running again, I'll install Wishbone there and see if he will travel online as well.

I LOVE this game! It took me years to find it again. I played it as a kid and had a love for both Wishbone and Greek mythology. I appreciated the colorful way Wishbone brought to life Greek mythology with surprising accuracy (about 98%). Ofcourse it IS just a game and had a few "added" things that were not part of Greek Mythology, hence the 98%.. but for the most part it was and still is Great!

Unfortunately, this is an older generation game, and didn't work on our computer. Too bad there is not an up to date version!

This is for Windows 3.1 or 95. Disappointed because hoping for a newer version as promised in description. Too old to work with Windows XP

Great childhood game, good fun and mythology! Definitely reccommend it! Its easy to play and good for learning, quite suitable for anyone
