Great Lakes Raw Michigan Honey

I love this honey but very disappointed to have received an already opened container.

I purchased this honey based on some other reviewers saying the honey was very good. However, when the shipment arrived, I opened the box and got sticky honey all over my fingers. The jar had been very poorly wrapped, rolling around in the box with just one piece of bubble wrap. When I requested a refund I got no answer. Needless to say, I didn't use the honey, since it seemed to have been tampered with, leaking all over the place.

I was looking for a bit think raw honey. This one is kind of fluid. I like raw honey from Costco compared to this. Local honey might be a better option too. I didn’t feel any special being from Great Lakes.

To me this honey tasted like the bees had chewing tobacco instead of gathering nectar from flowers. I'm used to the local honey so maybe it's just me but it also seemed a little foamy on top. The foam may have been from shipping.

This honey has a funky taste to it not like your standard honey that you would be used to.

The store has the same honey and less expensive

Won't buy again. Smells like urine.

Taste was horrible
