Q: is there a flow regulator on the splitter that connects to the house pipe as well as on both shower heads and can they be easily removed/

The Diverter has a restrictor that can be easily removed but the shower head has a restrictor that is built in and cant be removed.

Q: How many gallons per minute does it use?

from the installation sheet: "This combination shower system is equipped with water flow regulator that limits maximum water flow to 2.5 gallons (9.5 liters) per minute at 80 psi water pressure when both showerheads work together or independently."

Q: Looking for something like this {7 in head} with lots of pressure, do you recommend this product or do you have a suggestion?

My water pressure before installing is 45psi (which is good). After installation it comes out at 35psi and if using the handheld at the same time it drops significantly to just under 25psi. The sellers answer mentions gpm which can certainly affect the pressure but is not pressure it’s volume.

Q: Has anyone received an answer from raindance about locking the hand held in place- it just rotates- anyone know their email address?

Well, if the handheld piece is just rotating without stopping... I'd reach out to the seller themselves. Sounds like a defective product.
