For the money it's hard to beat these
For the money, it's hard to beat these. I use them for trad archery practice. I fasten them onto a Block Vault foam target. I feel that they really help me to visualize aiming on an actual deer at ethical hunting distances, when shooting with my longbow.I would give them 5 stars if the paper was at least 2x or 3x as thick as they currently are. It is pretty thin. If it's got a solid backing, the arrow holes are somewhat clean, without excessive tearing. But you have to have something fairly solid behind it.I don't know how well it would work tacked to a hay bale, though.

My son and I really like these targets
My son and I really like these targets. They're good for both bow and gun, good heavyweight paper, and they don't curl up or warp on a humid day. I also like that there's a grid pattern on the entire space, not just the vitals like some targets have. If you're sighting-in, a single target goes a long way because you can pick different aim points around the edges to do that, then check the final results on the vitals area. Great targets.

Great targets for deer hunters !
Great set of targets. Not the cheapest but if you are getting ready for hunting season this is a huge help and well worth the money. I used these at 300 yards with a rifle zeroed at 100 yards to guage how high I would need to hold my reticle on the deerโs body to compensate for the bullet drop. I highly recomend these targets!!

I use these as archery targets and It gives you a good idea of the size of the "kill zone" in a deer. As far as realism, I would buy a 3-d target to get the feel of shooting a deer. I will probably use them to sight in my rifles now.

Great targets, nice heavy weight paper
I really like these targets. They give a great reference point for those of us who want to do something other than bore holes in paper. I attach them to my bow targets, and they are easy to use with firearms. If you are careful, a single bow target can last for many arrow shots. My only complaint is that they don't paint this pattern on the side of deer...

Good perspective.
It does help one get the feel at how large a target they really have in the woods. Good perspective. To make each target last longer I glued it down to a card board base from the dollar store I cut in half. Or you could find some free cardboard and glue it on. Instead of ripping paper you get only holes in the target. Still very inexpensive.

Great target
High quality target, much more fun that shooting concentric circle targets. I mounted it to foam core and it has held up to one heck of a lot of arrows. Puts a little extra fun into practicing.
