This gold rope was just what I needed for a craft project. It is a nice shiny metallic gold. It is not a soft rope like cotton, it is stiffer because of the metallic fibers (not actually metal, just stiff material). This rope would not be great for detailed knotwork like macramé which needs a more pliable cord, but is fine for simple knots, bows, etc.

I used it to trim an antique desk. It turned out beautifully! Easy to work with. I'm glad I got enough for future use 😌
