Excellent tool for certain applications
I enjoy using this for electrical termination. It's pretty fast for installing junction box covers, flathead or phillips. It also has a very tight fitting square drive for smaller breakers; used along with the big handle you can get a decent amount of torque, ( not in turbo mode). The other great thing is that you are provided with a regular insulated handle, which combined with the turbo handle allows you two different hand tools at one time. Very convenient, I think the price is worth it. The Turbo handle is enough to sink a screw into weather tight junction boxes or low voltage terminals securely. It is definitely specialty, however if you think that you need it you probably do.

Do not buy, should have gotten the speede 2 instead
I bought this for the supposed ability of the VDE turbo handle’s convenience. I work on everything from 3 phase 480vac to the low voltage monitoring systems for the plant. I knew buying this that it’s not meant for coarse screws and for loosening them. I had this a month or less, and I babied this set. I was wiring up modbus controllers with bunches of fine threaded screws and using a chair as a makeshift table. I had the turbo handle locked to bread the small screws loose, then used the turbo feature to speed up unscrewing them. My 2 mistakes buying this pos was first purchasing said pos, and not covering my whole area with bubble wrap, pillows and foam. Because when I accidentally tugged on a wire it moved the screw driver that fell off the chair onto the ground. I picked up the screw driver that had no signs of damage as it fell from a chair but it would not spin. I finally got it to move but it takes more effort to spin the pos than to just turn it like normal. I’ve tried emailing Wera for warranty info and they do not respond. I have other Wera tools that I’m happy with and happily paid a premium because they are good tools. But this pos turbo handle has to be handled like a Faberge egg and isn’t worth it if you intend using for actual work. Save your money and get the kits without the turbo handle. You’re spending extra money for nothing.

Uh… no.
I was expecting low torque in the high-speed mode, but this thing has a lot of trouble with even very easy fastening. The gearing inside is also quite rough, especially when there is any kind of resistance. The thing that really gives this product a big fat FAIL, however, is switching modes. You have to fiddle with it for a second or two to get the button to depress, unless you're lucky. Very annoying and defeats the speed benefit of not having to change tools. Also, why is the second (non-geared) holder smaller than a regular Wera screwdriver's handle?Summary: Any tool that requires constant fiddling to work is caca.

Don’t drop it. Everyone needs to be refunded.
Dropped it from knee height... not sure if it’s supposed to come apart but I’m assuming those little pieces are hard to find. I was able to put it back together. The gear action is very hard to use. It would have to be very loose screws for it to work. Not very smooth gears either.. I can hear and feel it crunch.. and that was before I dropped it.The other bits and handle is very well built.. the one with the gears inside isn’t.I bought it for the rapid action.. so with it being so difficult to use and falling apart from a very low height, with a couple of small parts that comes apart.. it’s hard to not return. This isn’t a 15$ Craftsman set.. this is a premium tool set.. for over 140$!Revised:It sucks more than ever. Whoever came up with this design isn’t someone who uses this. The handheld one works fine but I can also buy a 5$ insulated blades to do the same thing.I bought it for this ratchet contraption.

Turbo handle gets stuck...
I'm operate a handyman/maintenance business. I was looking for a solution to carry a lot of insulated drivers without taking up a lot of space in my go to Veto bag. The turbo function gets stuck between gears and really makes it more aggravating than useful. I haven't looked yet to see if this is a free return, but I'll be glad to pay the shipping and or restocking fee to get this tool out of my tool bag. I have other wera drivers, with no issues. This is not a quality tool. I'll be returning asap...

Doesn't hold up to regular use
I dropped the turbo screwdriver from about waist level onto plywood, and it completely exploded. That being said even if it hadn't broke the locking collar is a bad design. I continued to use the spare handle when the other broke and now the collar sticks badly and the tips will fall out randomly. Was really hoping for more from Wera at this price point...
