It's a keeper
This Kitchenaid model KCO128CU lives up to my expectations. There is ample room to cook a Cornish hen. It bakes evenly and is true to items packaging specified temperatures/baking times. The air fyer cooks the same. The unit has a light inside that I appreciate for keeping an eye out for level of doneness. It is very quiet and fits on my counter without taking up a wide space. Its very easy to clean. The fan on the back forces it to sit closer to the counter edge on the front but, remains a sufficient distance back. The unit is large enough inside to accommodate a 9x13 baking pan and the pizza stone is a plus. All being said and done, this unit is a keeper. I highly recommend it.I've purchased and returned 7 air fryer/toaster ovens that including Cuisinart, Oster, Chefman brands and none of them met my expectations. To be fair I purchased a Breville Mini Compact oven and had to return it because it was actually too small to cook a Cornish hen as advertised. The only reason I did not replace it with a larger one was because next size up was too large for a single person and my countertop and I would have had to, once again, pay shipping. (I'll paying closer attention to this on all future items before purchasing anything). The Oster did not cook even and burned the food long before the recommended time. I didn't decide to return it in time but, was able to sell it to a neighborAll of them were very loud to operate. The Cuisinart was just too small inside and very difficult to clean. The Chefman had no on/off button and there was no way to cancel without having to unplug the unit. It was extremely hot on the outside and the fan ran for 25min before cooling and turning off the unit. Very loud unit.

I love this toaster oven!
I bought this toaster oven after having the same one (an older model, but not much has changed) for several years. I use it multiple times a day, almost every single day. The first one lasted several years (I can’t remember when I bought the first one, but it’s been over five years). The first one finally died—but I used it so often that I am surprised it lasted so long. I decided to stick with the same brand/model rather than trying another one. So I can’t say if it’s the absolute best option, but it’s a reliable piece of kitchen equipment and I have been satisfied. I have never owned a stand alone air fryer—so the air fryer function might not be as great as a stand alone air fryer. I think it works well for my purposes though, as I don’t eat/make a lot of fried foods. I just love this toaster oven and Kitchen Aid products in general. When this second one dies, I will be buying a third…

Great Oven!
We loved this oven for 4 years. The problem is that it only lasted 4 years. We used it most days so maybe that’s all we should have expected. The scary part was one day after using it, my son had turned it off and noticed later it was not off. It was extremely hot. He tried to turn it off and it would NOT turn off! We had to unplug it. Thank goodness we were home! Later he tried to make toast and it just got hot and burned. Time to get a new oven.

It Does Everything; Easy to Use and Clean
Bought this in July and we have used it for everything--from drying herbs, toast, bagels, making biscuits in a cast iron frying pan, making Thanksgiving side dishes which we usually cook in the oven, air frying fish and fries, melting cheese for sandwiches, proofing, and convection. It came in so handy over Thanksgiving as the turkey cooked in the oven--we cooked many of the side dishes here. It cooks evenly and is very easy to set or reset. It's bigger inside than it looks--I cannot believe what we were able to fit inside. I bought it b/c my husband doesn't like a lot of digital gadgets and this one is so easy to use--even he can figure it out. :) It's easy to clean--you pull out the plate and it cleans up quickly. It pre-heats very quickly. Once it's pre-heated, it switches to keeping time. The dials allow you to change the cooking time. Dials for toasting allow you to choose the toast setting and the number of slices. My husband remarked that the air fryer option is much better than our air fryer and I would agree. In fact, you do not have to interrupt the cooking to flip the food. It cooks both sides evenly. There is a light that stays on during cooking so it's easy to see inside. I did a lot of research on these ovens and for the price and performance, you cannot beat the Kitchen Aid. One last comment: I read somewhere to stay away from models with dials on top. These dials are on the bottom and the fan is in the back. The top can get pretty hot so leave enough room on each side for air to flow. Only negative is cleaning crumbs is a pain to get in the small areas. Also, the unit does not turn off when you open the door. I highly recommend this unit.

So far so good, 1.5 years in with extensive usage
Recent appliances seem to be a hit or miss.So far this has held up exceptionally well in 1.5 yearsWe have 6 people in the house and this is used at least half a dozen (avg) times a dayIt's surprisingly large and fits some of the store bought frozen pizza's. It heats up very quickly and gives a notification when the pre-heating is complete. We use it more than I thought for regular meals. It fits most items and is way more efficient than waiting for the 'big' oven to heat up.We actually have baked a half ham in there while our main oven was roasting a turkey. The convection oven works "ok" when attempting to crisp up chicken wings. Some of the features seem superfluous...like the toast option to select how many slices you're toasting.
