The media could not be loaded. I purchased a humidifier by a big name company & liked it... UNTIL I went to try & clean it one day & realized what a joke it was... the best I could do was rinse the tank out, & call it a day. I was not comfortable with that idea, so I decided to look for an EASY TO CLEAN humidifier.While searching on Amazon, I found THIS humidifier & decided to give it a try. The FEATURES the listing mentions had me HOOKED, and it has been LOVE ever since I started using it.First things first, I removed the FOAM they refer to as cotton...it's styrofoam & will cause tnt unit not to work correctly, so be sure to remove it.Then I washed the humidifier out before using it to clean off any residual things from the manufacturer. It comes with a very handy cleaning brush that is great for getting into the hard to reach spots.Next, I filled it with a VERY IMPRESSIVE 5 LITERS of filtered WATER.. I use water filtered via an RO system. Using FILTERED water helps eliminate any white residue from the water, as well as the risk of misting potential contaminants & chemicals in tap water.I was playing around with the features of the machine & ran it on low, medium, & high and the water lasted about 15 hours the first time. After that, I have generally run it on LOW & it runs about 28-30 hours.Each time you turn the machine off & back on again, it resets the settings. Default mist output is LEVEL THREE, which is HIGH, so choose the level you desire. I tend to choose level 1 most of the time, but sometimes use level 2 or 3 when we're awake, & 1 for whenwe're sleeping to be able to keep a steady mist going all night without it shutting off before I wake up.This humidifier has a HUMIDITY monitor & allows you to select WHICH humidity you want to maintain with this humidifier. It also offers a SLEEP option, that turns all the lights off. It has a run time timer of ONE to EIGHT hours... that is SO nice! It also has a REMOTE CONTROL!This humidifier is very QUIET.. I have had to look for the MIST to tell if it is actually running, because it is SO quiet.The directions say to clean it once per week, but I clean mine every other day, allowing it to air dry in between uses.I use a small amount of dish soap & use the included electronics brush to scrub it all clean. There are some nooks & crannies where mold can form in this IF you don't maintain it. As long as you maintain it, you should NOT have a mold issue. That is the case for EVERY humidifier... you MUST clean it every 1-2 days or else mold WILL grow.I like to run this humidifier & not have to worry about it until it runs out of water, so I usually set the humidity up high (you can choose the humidity range of 40-90%) & let it run until the water is gone. It has an AUTO SHUTOFF feature, that shuts off when the WATER runs out.. it works EVERY time for me.There is an essential oil tray on the lower left side of the humidifier. I have NOT used that feature yet, as I have dedicated EO diffusers, but I do want to try the EO feature to know how well it works.You have the OPTION to run the humidifier with LOW mist, MEDIUM MIST, or HIGH mist... I find medium & high to be too much for where I have the humidifier located (on our piano), so I usually keep it on LOW.This humidifier has MANY great FEATURES & I am SO happy with this purchase.I DO recommend this humidifier & WOULD purchase another one.. which I am considering doing for my kid's room.EASY to CLEAN & runs GREAT..it's a workhorse 💪.

The concept of top loading is great, except the design where the water chamber meet the base chamber is poor , It leak waters, i have it leak all over my floor more than 3 times already, so can not use this. It mess up my laminar floor. The Hudimity control is alway incorrect and it read much higher than the actual, so it causes the machine to such down. I would have it return except my original box was sitting under the machine and the leak destroy the box?

The media could not be loaded. I have been getting a lot of nose bleeds, so my doctor told me to purchase a humidifier. Boy let me tell you this humidifier has helped me so much with my nose bleeds they quit after using this for 5 days. It has also helped me with another problem I had my table pad in my dining room,it was looking warped in the center and from using this humidifier it went back into shape. I can’t tell you how much I love this humidifier it’s easy to clean, very quiet, and very easy to use with the remote. It has worked wonders for me and I highly recommend, please see for yourself in my short video.

This is a fantastic humidifier. While no humidifier can attain perfection status, this one is definitely one of the nicest I've owned. Love top fill!! I love every feature. All the features listed in the description work as described. Sleep mode turns off digital light. 3 levels of mist output. Auto shut off. Cool mist. Plus it's beautiful. Not too mention that it fits on a nightstand easier than more bulky humidifiers. It's mostly easy ish to clean. There are a few nooks and crannies that I can't reach. Why are humidifiers made like this? Is there a real reason behind it, I wonder? So far so good though.

This humidifier is very pretty and sleek. It works fine, although I don't really notice much scent when I add essential oils to the oil tray. My issue is with the cleaning. Cleaning the tank is easy but the base is difficult. The little nooks are hard to get to, even with very small brushes. I normally clean it twice a week but I forgot to empty the base when I left town and when I came back, the water in the base showed a little pinkish mildew. I cleaned it very well with all my brushes but after rinsing I noticed some of the pink color still in the corners and around some of the internal pieces. I ended up using a toothpick along some of the seams to get rid of everything. Also, there are no instructions on how to clean inside the fog tube and I'm afraid to stick a brush in there. A cleaning kit would have been helpful, along with instructions on cleaning the fog tube.

Just got the unit today and set up up. It is for a very small room. There exists (in this room) another Temp/RH device that is proven to work correctly.The unit failed to shut off at the correct RH level.After reading the instructions and setting it up, the unit was set to 60% rh. The room was at 52% rh at the start of the humidifiers cycle. I came back 20 mins later only to find the room was foggy. The proven to work RH/temp device reads 93% RH and the humidifier read 63% rh while it happily chuggs out fog.The unit failed to start when the RH level dropped below 60% setting.So i cleared out the room and the humidity slowly drops into the 50's%. Powered back on the unit and it failed to start. I had to power it down and back on to get it to start, only to have it not shut off at the desired RH% AGAIN!!!This cheap piece of chinese junk is getting sent back to amazon. Im going to go ahead and buy a name brand unit at a higher price. I suggest you do the same. Especially if your using it for "other" reasons. Not advisable if you are using it for "other" things. It has got to read correctly and be dependable....
