I have a goat, Checkers, who has dry flaky skin. It was so bad I thought it might be mange. I did some research and read reviews on Healthy Coat. It seemed to be just what he needed. I was skeptical at first. After feeding it to all my goats for 3 weeks I could see a definite improvement in all of them. And checkers now has the healthiest coat of all the goats.

Exactly what I needed to help my goats skin get back to a healthy state. Poured it over the grain and they ate it without any issue.

It’s a very specific product but I have a 13 year old NDG who had a lot of flaky skin - after ruling out mites etc.and trying different stuff - over the years, I had kinda accepted this was her fate. I do add BOSS and I was using zinc and copper etc. I’m not new to goats. So after pondering, I starting googling about show goats and stumbled across the product. The oily concoction with biotin and omegas seems to be effective. After a week, with brushing out the old flakes, the new skin is not flaking as badly. I mix 2oz with fennel, thyme, garlic and ginger and add raw pumpkin seeds then enough oats to make a gruel. I treat with herbs all the time and felt a tad defeated to buy a concoction but — it’s working! Update - I just ordered another - I’m happy to get good oil into my wethers too.

Excellent product to mix with whole grain. The goats' coats were noticeably shinier. It would be really nice if they could settle on a price instead of fluctuating so much. I love the product but when I have 21 show goats, I can't trust that I won't go into debt buying this product.
