LogOX 3-in-1 Forestry Tool Set with Holster. Cant Hook, Timberjack & Log Hauler Kit

I bought this tool mainly to use as a log jack. I have 3 other log jacks, and they all suffer from problems. One problem common to them all is that when used out in the woods they are not stable. On a soft woodland floor they all tend to twist as the log is rolled onto them and the result is just not very satisfactory. So, I was attracted to this product by the 'big foot', and I'm pleased to say it does work for me. The large flat bearing area of the foot keeps the jack square to the ground and to the log. Also, the log goes a bit more 'over-centre' by the time the handle touches the ground then on other designs, and is accordingly supported more securely. This is in part down to the relatively short handle so that the axis of the body slopes down from the log towards the end of the handle when the log is resting on the jack. The product looks well designed and is very strongly built.

Excellent back, hand and foot injury saver. Especially when handling sap filled newly felled wood. Perfect Forestry tool, you can easily carry it into the woods with your chainsaw.You will need to buy spare split pins and I would recommend removing the cotter pins and storing them in a dedicate pocket rather than leaving them on the tool if not being used.I've used all 3 deployments to process several of the Storm Arwen trees into firewood for 2023.It's price but worth it..made of heavy duty steel. Its a heavy tool to start with so you'll need strength to use it. But if you aren't strong enough to use it, you probably shouldn't be using a chainsaw in the woods in the first place.

Quality of build is great. It just works well!No complaints apart from the holster being sold separate and very expensive to buy on its own. Better off making your own holster.

Wow. How did I move and process logs without this. It's expensive but considering mine had to come from the United States postage took up a fair chunk of the price. Well made so should last for years

After two hurricanes back to back in Florida I needed something that would help remove trees from my wooded property.A life saver on your back so you dont have to dead lift bucked timber and rolling trees to be able to cut them safely. It made the time to clear the trees that fell during the storms go fast and easy, especially for one person(me). I'm in my 50's and have compressed discs in my back, so this tool literally saved me from days of hurt and recovery. All in all, I highly recommend not only for its functionality, but sturdy construction. I purchased the forestry kit separately (should have bought it all together) but I knew I would need the hookaroon , belt tool hanger and the bag after seeing some videos of the complete kit being used out in the field. Well worth the money for the quality and ease of use. My neighbors had some kind of Chinese knockoff that bent, but I let them use my LogOx and they were going to buy one for themselves. Also, it came with a cool can Koozie and Log Ox logo sticker that I added to my hard hat. Thank you Log Ox for your great invention!

This is an excellent tool - professionally manufactured and very sturdy. It does mean it’s quite heavy but to get this kind of quality and strength you do need the steel to be very strong. I am very impressed and you would be hard pressed to find anything better. Spend a little extra and get this tool it will last a life time.

This is made here in the USA (rare these days) by a Veteran owned company. I have been using this for several days now.The material is strong and sturdy, and the swing arm clips are an upgrade from the previous pins. I believe they listened to the customer and made the change. You won't have to worry about them falling outThere is so much this product can do besides using it as a cant hook and the Timberjack. I encourage you to watch the videos as you can see how easy it is to assemble and use. So for me, it is the best one I have ever used.My previous one, you screwed the handles together and I bent it real bad to where the screw was pulling our out of the pipe. It was not a large tree. You will not have to worry about that with this one. It is well designed and easy to put together. My favorite piece it the log hauler. You do not have to bend over any more and get back aches hauling the cut logs to your vehicle Very easy to use, their videos show 4 ways to get the hook to release. This tool you just stoop down and let it catch on the log and lift it up with you legs. Carry it where you want it. I use a maul to split my wood. So using this tool, I was able to haul the log to my stump. Once there I turned it over and grabbed it again and lifted up on the stumps and went to work. Today I did eight logs, no back aches! You can also use to haul away the branches, again no back pain.The cant hook is designed to grab the fallen tree and with the extended arm, it moves it like it a twig. I was moving some large tree parts. You don't have to keep trying to get it to hook on the trunk. The design grabs it on the fist go.The other great thing about this tool is the timber jack. This lifts the tree so you can make a clean cut and not touch the ground. With this you do not have to roll the tree to continue the cut you started. It save your chain and you can keep cutting.For the money, it is worth it. This will be the last cant hook you will buy. I am so glad I took the risk and bought it. (JW)
