Great portable game
Great game, great value for how much fun it is! My wife and I took this when traveling and played it whenever we had free time, it's very addicting! The build quality is amazing!

Very similar to the original
Very similar to the original Tiny Epic Galaxies. Nice quality pieces. Easy to learn and play.

Fun, lighter version of the original game!
I love the original Tiny Epic Galaxies, but this version is easier to teach/learn and it may be a bit simpler than the original. The iconography is easy to follow and the competents are nice quality! I wish they had a solo varient with the game.

Five stars!
Super fun game that is surprisingly complex for a very compact game. Played it with friends that enjoy a little more complex and strategic games like Civilization or the like, and we were all pleasantly surprised! It’s engaging for everyone no matter whose turn it is, it has enough chance but also strategy to make it fun, and it has factors that make the game different every time you play it. Absolutely a must! The only disappointment is that you can’t have more players

Fun family game. Not overly complex.
Fun family game for kids between 9 and 14 or so. Maybe a little light after that? Not sure. I enjoy it, and I'm an adult, I guess. It's no Space Base, but it's good and quite affordable. What's not to love?! 👍 (Great quality boards and pieces too!)

Easy To Learn, Quick To Play
Bought this game because of the price and I own other Tiny Epic games. The game has an easy rulebook to get through and enough decision points to keep you engaged and present, even during other players turns because of the 'follow' rule. Played it twice with family the first week I had it and the game was well received by all. I would recommend this game.

Good small box space game
Got as a holiday gift from a boardgame loving family to travel with. They say they played it and was fun, but it hasn't hit the table a second time yet (likely too many choices). They played with 4 players of varying ages but think it would be best with 3 players. If you're looking for a space themed game that takes little space and plays in under an hour, this might be for you!

The name of the game gives an idea of what it strives to be, and there are plenty of merits to the design. Components are well made and fit nicely into a very sturdy box without unnecessary inserts or space-fillers seen in so many other bigger games with similar or fewer components. The cards and custom dice feature simple iconography that is language-independent and gameplay is straightforward enough to be picked up quickly. There's a lot of player interaction in this one as you can take actions even when it's someone else's turn, so there's very little downtime even at the max player count of 4. A minor gripe would be the finish on the cards which are so smooth that the wooden tokens tend to slide around on them instead of staying put. "Epic" is a stretch, but at this price point and size, you are getting good value for a pretty decent game.

tighter rules and actions... better ballanced version of a much loved game.
