Perfect Photos
Not sure what I was expecting, maybe a better quality print then from their product that this style replaces/upgrades. However, while the paper is thicker (which is nice), the result doesn't actually show until several minutes after a photo is printed. I'm using a high quality ink jet printer with six inks. The print is "dry" when it ejects from the printing process. The colors are a bit muted even for a smooth gloss finish. However, once the print thoroughly drys, the colors brighten up. Not sure why this is because Ilford's other papers behave better.I've used Ilford papers for several years and quite happy with the results. I'll continue to use the Ilford brand even though this style will be interesting to get use to using what with the way the inks behave on the printing process. I do like the weight of the paper.June 2013Thought I would add that I've purchased about 500 papers (5 boxes) of this product. Why? Because, as it turns out, it is so much better. My clients are really happy with the results. Especially how the colors reproduce so well (printer and editing have a lot to do with it as well).

Large quantity packaging destroys quality
I have been using Ilford photo papers especially the Smooth Pearl and Smooth Gloss for years and I really like the quality. However, recently I have noticed that packaging of 100 sheets is hard to find. The 250 sheets packaging actually folds the paper in the middle because of its sheer weight. I would request the company to limit its packaging quantity to preserve the quality.

Goodbye Yellowbox Road
For many years, I had my own darkroom and developed thousands of mostly black and white prints. Even then, Ilford was the premier paper for detailed and stunning images. Kodak didn't come close. Ilford was more expensive. But in a photo comparison, Ilford won out time after time. For me, the difference in quality far outweighed the difference in cost. Forward to 2014 and the digital camera age. I have experimented with HP and Big Yellow. But again, the very first time an Ilford print rolled off my printer, I knew the more things changed, the more they remain the same. Again, images of stunning detail and color, not possible with HP or Kodak are common with Ilford. I have a consumer all in one inkjet printer, not some hot stuff professional model. One print and you'll be hooked.

Look carefully before buying the 25-pack, and don't try to print on the back
We needed some heavy paper for color postcards, and nowhere in the description does it indicate what the back side of the paper is like. We assumed it was printable but it isn't. I don't know why it can't have some simple surface that will even accept laserprinting but it completely sheds inkjet, and laser toner sits on the top and scratches off easily. But the main issue is that the title says Smooth Gloss but we ordered the 25 sheet pack to try it and it arrives as eggshell finish. If you enlarge the picture well enough to read the fine print on the 25-sheet pack you can see that it is not Smooth Gloss, but that was not a pleasant surprise when we didn't receive Smooth Gloss. The title needs to be changed, or the "pearl" finish needs to be listed under a different SKU. And I think we are probably not the only people who would like to have known that the backside is not printable.

A great quality product for digital prints
This company sells fine quality photo print paper that I am able to use on my Epson printer, with very satisfying results. Combined with an excellent digital camera, I am always amazed at the high end prints I am able to make, to frame and to give away as gifts or family treasures. Ilford paper far exceeds Kodak or any of the "Bright" papers for making prints at home. I am able to produce something close to studio quality results. I am not a professional photographer, but I do like to get the best and most satisfying outcome with this paper. I highly recommend it.E. Sahrbeck, Dover, DE

The paper is great, the shipper is terrible
I've used this paper for years and needed some more. I have a fully calibrated printing system and know I can expect great prints. When I placed my order on January 14 the item was in stock. There are still 5 in stock as of January 28. The item is scheduled to be delivered between February 13 and March 1.Really? It takes at least a month to ship something that's in stock. I've been lied to. I will never buy from aSavings again. "Sold by aSavings and Fulfilled by Amazon."

Perfect for home printing with professional results!
I ordered this paper to print some old photos for my husband for Christmas. The photos printed beautifully, and he was thrilled. The quality of this paper was a lot nicer than anything I've used to print photos on in the past, so I was very happy with the results. If you're printing photos at home and want them to look professional, I highly recommend this paper.
