Q: Has anyone used this on porcelain tile

Yes. With right blade, works fine. You do need to make sure you are using a blade rated for dry cut. Some help with a vac is also handy if making lots of cuts indoors.

Q: Not sure what I'm missing but where is the guide that assure that I'm cutting exactly on my line. This is a large piece of wood

If the board is too wide for the guide (most boards are) then you need to use a "fence" or straight edge just like you would with a circular saw of regular size.

Q: Does anyone know how to lock the blade guard in place out of the way when you actually need to use the blade?

There is blade screw, but it is hard to tighten.

Q: How do you remove the flange to mount the blade

You shouldn't have to remove it. I used the allen wrench that came with it to unscrew the nut where the blade goes. Put the depth gage to the lowest setting and slide the blade up to where it sits then tighten it as tight as you can get it.
