Have had similar item previously but like this one as it has a ‘clearance’ button to remove hair. My dogs are medium coated and it’s great for getting undercoats but probably not so good for long haired dogs as teeth are very close together but for medium/short hair it’s very good

This is the best tool I have used when stripping hair from my wiry terrier. It is comfortable to hold and easily cleaned when in use.A good wide blade and keeps sharp. Have used other makes but this is the best so far.

I bought this for deshedding season for my horses. It's amazing. So easy to use and so effective. Even with the heaviest shed, the hair oftentimes drops out of the blade without having to hit the eject button. On receipt I thought it was a little small for a use on a large horse, but it's actually the perfect size, even on my 16hh big bummed brute. He also loves it and unties himself to chase after me when I move onto the others. Even my chestnut mare who hates any grooming (everywhere is a no touch zone) will stand for a bit of shedding by this tool. Can't rate it highly enough.
