Disappointing
Too much "padding" with what "he" or "she" said. This used up pages of useless and boring comments. I found myself skipping pages and fast losing interest . A pity as it's a very intriguing true murder. No shock in the reading of it regarding the murders and read so matter of fact. Not a good book sorry.

THE MOST BORING BOOK I'VE EVER READ
BORING is the word for this book. I have a library of thousands of true crime books. True crime is my 'thing'. However this book is badly written and repetitive. The entire story could have been condensed into a leaflet but instead of which the author pads it out with incredibly boring trivial details about the detectives and their lives. I hate to say it, and I've never done this with a book on crime before, but I started to skim through to find out if the victims were ever found and then skimmed to the back to see what sentence the murderer received. He was clearly nuts and should have been put into a mental institution. Nothing psychological about this one. Nutter kills 3 people for no apparent reason and then confesses. End of story.
