Great stand.
Very sturdy stand. Assembly was fairly easy. The bolts for each step are marked and packaged separately. The only hard part was using the correct pre drilled hole. The directions weren’t very clear on that. Assembly took about 40 minutes. You will not find a better stand for the price.

Nice stand but...
This is a decent economy stand, its not a heavy duty stand, but its fairly comfortable, and its super easy to put up due to its lighter weight. With that said...this stand is the EXACT same stand as another no name stand that you can also buy on amazon. Guide Gear just rebrands the stand, and rewrites the instructions. Same bolts, same parts, same seat, same everything, just rebranded. Id suggest saving yourself a few bucks, and buying the SAME stand, that doesnt say "guide gear" on it.

It gets the job done but the assembly instructions should be way better
It’s a neat little rig for the price. The assembly instructions are terrible though. First of all it says the tools required are two 1/2” wrenches. This is false. You’ll need two 7/16” wrenches or just use one wrench and a nut driver like I did. If you have a half a brain though you should be able to figure it out.

No issues with assembly or quality
I’ve sat in a few different stands and while this one is not the nicest, it is good for the money. It is comfortable and sturdy, however I am a thin guy at only 140 pounds, so that might be a factor in why it works for me. Some reviewers complained about assembly instructions, but my son and I were able to put it together in about an hour and this was our fist time assembling a strand.

Improvement needed
Likes: Item seems to be sturdy though slightly cramped. The method of securing the stand to the tree is good and the addition of the harness is a nice touch. Dislikes: First and foremost, the assembly instructions are awful. They force you to rely on the pictures and are mostly unclear. What should have been a 90 minute assembly took over twice as long and requires multiple re-do's. Additionally, the tree support brace is too short and the extension piece (though it indicated that one was a part of the package) was not included. This caused the ladder to be almost vertical which is not the safest way to get into a tree stand. Extending the brace by another three feet would allow a much easier and safer climb into the stand. Lastly, I would have liked for the stand and the ladder assembly to be wider making the climb easier.

Great product for the money
So far so good, put these up this year, built them myself. Directions not great, but the quality of this product seems to be holding up so far. I did spray paint them with truck liner spray for added rust protection. Would be nicer if they included stainless hardware.

Decent stand
Fairly easy to assemble, even when not reading the instructions. Seems plenty sturdy. Hopefully it will hold up over the years.
