Lots of info on YT about this classic model. Watch is everything you’d expect and more for the price point. Feels chunky and solid and well made. Band is perfect and holes are close together so any size wrist can be we’ll accommodated. On smaller wrists, the extra band folds neatly back into the guide and stays there. The quintessential entry level every day wear automatic watch. Only thing I will say is the watch’s green face and band is not as dark IRL as it is in the photo on the listing.

I have come to love this watch and wear it every day over several dress and high end dive watches. The raised marker and logo detail and the color just blow me away. A tremendous field watch I use in the field and have scratched up the crystal a bit. Someday I'll get a sapphire crystal put in it and put my Timex work watch back in service but until then... Thank you!

The watch is a fantastic daily that has a minimalistic style to it. The watch does gain and lose time at regular intervals, but the manufacturer states this in the pdf for the watch. I recommend looking up the model number and downloading the pdf from seiko so that you can know all the ins and outs of your model. The strap, cloth strap, is the only thing on the watch that needs to be replaced. The strap it comes with wears out really fast.

I bought this watch in green. I really like the color and the styling. The band works well. I really like automatic watches! Very retro and it hold the time very well. Would recommend this watch highly

stopped working after 14 months. took it to my watch guy (he is very good and services all my watches). he said parts alone would be $200. that's nearly what i paid. oh well, live and learn. i've bought 3 watches off amazon and all 3 died. never again. will buy watches local in future.

I have a rolex, omega, tissot, and now this. This is true Japanese craftsmanship. The only downside is the crystal is not sapphire and the you can hear the automatic wind noise, which is perfect fine for the price. You won't regret it. I wear this more often just because I enjoy the shear simplicity of daydate automatic with high accuracy.

Beautiful to look at & keeps good time for a mechanical watch. The hacking & hand wind option is a very welcome feature in this price range from Seiko. Happy with the purchase and waiting for a price drop on other dial colours of the same model.

First of all that's a tool for me, then accessory. Good quality for this reasonable price. Comfortable to wear 24/7. I switched to mechanics from a smart watch. I realized that all these smart functions are in most cases just a toy. I also got tired of charging them constantly. Classic mechanic watch with function " always on display" where you can easily count the time from almost any angle of looking at the dial( compare screen of electronical watch).

Excelente reloj para un uso diario. Muy preciso y cómodo. Buena visibilidad tanto de día como de noche. Un poco más pequeño de los otros Seiko 5 Sport con bisel giratorio pero no me genera problema. El precio me pareció muy razonable. Además llegó un día antes de lo esperado en excelentes condiciones.

I have been searching for a while for that perfect all occasion, reliable, and robust automatic watch with day and date function. I believe this is it. I received the watch around two weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It’s short lug to lug distance makes it a very comfortable watch for a large spectrum of wrist sizes. Very easy to read. I also wash my hands often so getting the nato strap wet has not been an issue. It dries fast. I adopted the down under nato strap method which makes it look and feel much better than the traditional nato method of wear. The accuracy has been very acceptable.For the first 5 days it gave me a 0.3sec/day accuracy. I measured it again after another week and I got -9sec/ day. Hoping it moves back into the plus range as it adjusts to my movements. Overall a stunning watch. One can easily dress it up with a leather strap; however, I have been enjoying the comfortable feel of the nato. It’s made in Japan. Although the crown is a push in, it feels robust and sturdy.
