That pop sound when skeeters get zapped is music to my ears!
We were skeptical about an INDOOR bug zapper but now we are believers!Owning an open style doggie daycare/boarding facility in Florida where mosquitoes are horrible you can imagine the amount of bugs coming inside since the door is always open for dogs to go out and do their business! We had to try something! We plugged it into the room closest to the back door placed it up on the shelf and WOW! There’s no zap sound it’s more of a POP . I’ve even heard it during daylight hours and our mosquito problem has gone down at least 80% so far (those critters live 45 days ya know) in just a week so we are hopeful it goes down more, but thankful for the wonderful change even if it doesn’t!

Eh...
I really really wanted to like this zapper. I purchased it to take out mosquitoes, which it did. However, the light for it was quite problematic. The first one I ordered seemed to work perfectly and we enjoyed a mosquito free area (even without an attractant, although adding it increases its potential) until the light went out about two weeks in. I tried taking the light out and placing it back inside. It stayed on for an hour before it started to flicker off and on. I ordered a replacement and all was well until this on started exhibiting the same behavior accompanied by a strange circuit sputtering sound, after three weeks. Sadly, I had to return that one too.TL;DR While it worked, it was effective and did exactly what I ordered it for, but it was short lived :(

Only thing that worked on my fly problem.
These flies were invading my backyard multiplying like crazy. I bought the fly trap you fill with water and after 3 days there were thousands of flies in it but the little bigger in the picture along with his 20+ friends never left the patio under the pergola. After 2 days of this light being on all day and up to 2 hours after dark the flies are gone! I haven't attempted to clean the bug zapper yet, after 6 hours on the first day I opened the bottom, nothing in it at all. As soon as the sun went down I started to hear snap crackle and popping. So I tried the $5 disposable fly trap, a $1 bar of Irish spring soap in a mesh bag (Facebook had that as a remedy). Then this $20 bug zapper. I wish I went to the bug zapper first.

Attracts and kills bugs but not mosquitos
I have mosquitos getting into the house. This device does not attract them at all. It did kill some small moths, and a few flies but zero mosquitos. People giving it positive reviews probably can't identify a mosquito. Doesn't work.

Died fast but lived hard.
This thing died after 3 days of use but it killed so many of the bugs I was having problems in my house. Mosquitos, no problem, leave this thing alone in the dark. Flies, no problem but they do leave a stench that lingers and at first I thought the mechanism had burn out due to this. Moths, nom nom. Fruit flies? That's where this fails, these little bastards are smart and don't easily fall for it. They do but not all.. I've actually caught them avoiding it by running into other rooms or smashing themselves into ANY other light source to get away.I just wish it was sturdier. Gave out and I wouldn't have minded it dying after a month but it only lasted 3 days, so 1 star.

Does not attract all mosquitos
Nice size, cute lamp; however, I bought it because I've lately had mosquitoes invade my home and I could not sit on my recliner without fighting one off. Was so happy to get this lamp, but though I do hear it zap once in a while, the mosquitoes still interfering on my relaxation time and sleep. It does not attract them all. I would say the really tiny ones are more attracted.
