Manic panic is always my go to! I always find the shade Im looking for and the price point is perfect! I will say that if my hair was thicker I would have to get two of these for each time I refresh my color but for fine hair this one was perfect and there was even some left over! I have also noticed adding water to thin it out made it really saturate the strands and the color very vibrant and easier to spread!

I’ve been a faithful manic panic customer for many years now and only recently started using the amplified versions—I have no idea why I held out so long! It really does last longer, although I don’t think it conditions quite as well as the OG formula but honestly for me this is worth it. I haven’t had blue hair since my tween years because it never stayed in my hair, but I took a chance on the After Midnight amplified and it paid off beautifully. I can shampoo my hair a couple times a week and rinse with warm water and it still looks great for an entire month before I notice the color is nearly all out in some spots. Plus! A single bottle is almost five applications for me—that is 5 entire months of color for less than 20 bucks? I’m there!

My go-to dye! I use this once a month and leave it on for a couple of hours. It makes my brown hair a very very dark blackish blue and my lightened hair a dark blue. It fades nicely but you still need to wash your hair with cold (or lukewarm) water if you want the color to stay put longer than 2 weeks. Out of the manic panic blue dyes (pretty sure I've tried them all at this point), this one lasts the longest and it's my favorite for fall and winter months. However, my shower always looks like I murdered a smurf in there.

I purchased this to help me rid the previous wrong color This was perfect, and it is still so much better to use. No major mess!! I used to get dye everywhere. This didn't come off on my towels or pillowcases. Love it! Love the vibrant color.

For starters, I have no clue what drying power is. It’s a huge mess, but looks good after all is said & done. I just wish it lasted longer. For my hair at least, it’s only good for 1-2 weeks until it’s pale green instead of blue, and showering is always a mess because the color always runs (and that’s with following the instructions on the bottle to the letter & using Manic Panic shampoo & conditioner).

I'm always chopping and changing my hair colour, and this was the first time I used manic panic and I chose the AMPLIFIED AFTER MIDNIGHT BLUE DYE. The advice is always to pre lighten the hair, with bleach if needed. I decided against this has I had already pre lightened my hair (but not bleach) when I dyed it pink 4 month's ago. And couldn't be bothered to wait for the pink to totally fade and start right from the beginning. Blah, blah. Being an insomniac (and impatient) was an advantage for when trawling through the Internet and YouTube looking for advice on dying straight over the pink. The majority outcome was not to as it would be a yucky colour . But I found 1 video that did take that risk and it turned out beautifully. So I decided to take the plunge. I put on cheap plastic gloves (my advice is to use washing up gloves (I wish I had. And make sure that they are ones you won't want to use again lol)), which did tear hence my lovely blue hands. And smothered protelium jelly around my hairline and top of my ears. This is a messy process and preparation is everything. I emptied the contents into a bowel and added a squirt of WHITE coloured hair contiditioner just to lighten it a tad. And applied it starting at my roots. Once fully covered I got clingfilm piled my hair on top of my head and wrapped it in the clingfilm and left it for 3 hours (manic panic advice is 30 mins, but I've found for myself, the longer the better). As you can see (my pic's aren't the best as I'm not the most photogenic), the only way I can describe the outcome is WOW!!! WOW!!! It looks so much better in 'real life'. The blue obviously has attached itself to the pink and the rest of my virgin hair a blackish colour, which thankfully covered my natural sparkly bits. When I wash it next, I will use cool, even cold water, if I'm feeling brave and colour saving shampoo/conditioner. And in between washes dry shampoo (which is my new best friend and should be yours too), as every wash reduces the colour and vibrancy. So I wash my hair once or twice a week. I've had so many compliments the most I've had with any colour. I gave 3* stars for long lasting as I've only been blue a week, so time will tell. I would recommend this colour and brand, and I can't wait for when I try another colour in a few months x

El color no es exactamente lo que me esperaba ya que buscaba un azul oscuro marino, con subtonos morados. Sin embargo cogió muy bien sobre mi pelo natural. Partía de una base con mechas balayage, por lo que las raíces se ven más oscuras y las mechas en diferentes tonos de azul. El tinte es más bien un azul eléctrico, y decolora hacia el verde, así que tenerlo en cuenta. Para la longitud y densidad de mi pelo necesité dos botes, y dura bastante con los lavados. Llevo con él 10 lavados y no ha perdido apenas intensidad. También destiñe bastante, tener cuidado con prendas claras, las toallas y las sábanas, ya que cuando está mojado a día de hoy mancha, seco no tanto. Os muestro unas fotos de referencia, ya que me costó elegir el tono por falta de imágenes. Mi color inicial de pelo, media melena teñida, recién aplicado, y finalmente tras dos semanas ondulado. Si queréis aplicarlo sobre el pelo natural, tiñe muy bien y en un pelo castaño queda azul oscuro, cuanto más claro, más variedad de azules y saturación (se puede ver con las mechas) pero al lavarlo pierde el azul y se queda verdoso. Si os gusta no hay problema, y si lo veis feo, estilado queda y se disimula mucho mejor. ¡Espero seros de ayuda!

I love to use this hair paint. Easy to apply, if you know what you are doing. Tip for everyone use gloves when applying it and be aware it stains on your towels but easy to wash out. I recommend it to all that want blue color hair 😁

Ho sempre usato arctic fox, questa è la prima volta che provo Manic Panic e devo dire sono molto soddisfatta. Ho utilizzato il blu After Midnight amplified, l’ho tenuto in testa 3 ore come ero solita fare con arctic fox e il risultato è ottimo, il blu è stupendo e bello carico, i capelli super morbidi, certo macchia un po’ però è una cosa che quando si fa il blu ci si deve aspettare… comunque al primo lavaggio il colore regge ancora benissimo nonostante abbia scaricato molto in doccia.

I have been coloring my hair for past 4 years now. Manic Panic is the best product so far. Specially if you are looking for an actual bright blue, this is the color to go for. Also the fall of the color is beautiful. Once the blue fades, it turns to purple, then to pink and then to ash grey. You will definitely enjoy this color.
