HHKB HYBRID Keyboard PD-KB800B, Printed Keycaps, Bluetooth Professional Mechanical 60% Keyboard, Compact, USB-C (Charcoal)

I only have this keyboard for about 2 months, but now it is almost unusable! As commented by Dan L, it sticks on keys! I expect it to give me a perfect experience but it's actually not as good as my £15 keyboard, at least I've had it for a year and a half and it still works.

The layout comes more naturally than you might expect. This is how all keyboards should be formatted, smooth. And switching back and forth from laptop to desktop is as easy at Fn+1 and Fn+0. I'm quite happy with it.

Item arrived much faster than the estimated delivery date. Very happy with what I purchased.

Obviously, this isn't for everyone, but I love it. Pairing was easy. However, I bought a hkkb prof BT that seemed to be difficult to pair. You could not switch easily between devices. With this Fn+Ctrl + n where n is one the 4 devices configured. I had a Niz plum and Razer huntsman clicky before. Gave them away.

Ich habe diverse Keyboards zu Hause. Darunter mehrere FILCO Majestouch-2 Tenkeyless Modelle mit Cherry MX Switches in Brown und Blue, desweiteren einige Topre Realforce Tenkeyless Modelle und einige IBM Model M mit den legendären Buckling Springs.Ein HHKB hatte ich mir bisher noch nicht zugelegt.Ich war bisher immer skeptisch wegen des Tastenlayouts. Da das Keyboard nicht wirklich billig zu haben ist, wäre es schon sehr ärgerlich, wenn das Tastenlayout letztendlich nicht gefällt.Zum Glück habe ich es endlich doch mal getan und es nicht bereut. Das Keyboard ist wirklich spitze.Das Tastenlayout ist genial. Die Capslock-Taste ist durch Control-Taste ersetzt worden. Diese benötige ich sehr oft, Capslock hingegen nie.Das Layout erfordert eine gewisse Umgewöhnung. Nach ein paar Stunden ist dies jedoch im Muskelgedächnis und fühlt sich dann sehr gut an. Die DIP Switches lassen eine einfache Konfiguration zu. Wahlweise kann man wie Software auch alle Tasten neu belegen. Diese Konfiguration wird dann auf der Tastatur hinterlegt.Die Tasten in der schwarzen Ausführung lassen sich nur bei sehr guter Beleuchtung vernünftig ablesen. Wer nicht blind schreiben kann, sollte lieber die helle Ausführung nehmen.Das Keyboard fühlt sich sehr wertig an. Ich war erst skeptisch, da alles aus Plastik ist und die Tasten nicht auf einer Metalplate gemounted sind.Das Gefühl beim Tippen ist sehr präzise und macht wirklich Spaß.Den Unterschied zwischen der Type-S und der "normalen" ist spürbar. Ich habe mir mittlerweile PD-KB800B und die PD-KB800BS zugelegt. Für einen Favoriten habe mich aber bisweilen noch nicht entscheiden können.Für das Office bzw die berufliche Nutzung habe ich mir das PD-KB401W zugelegt, da die Firma keine Keyboards mit Bluetooth zulässt. Dies Modell hat nur USB-C. Dies sollte man beim Kauf ggf. beachten, wenn man es auch beruflich nutzen möchte. Besser vorab den Verantwortlichen in der Firma hierzu befragen.Der 60% Formfaktor ist IMHO ein echtes Plus was die Ergonomie angeht. Den Ziffernblock nutze ich nie. Dies verkürzt enorm den Weg zur Maus (Rechtshänder).Die Topre Switches sind echt himmlisch.Wenn ihr Developer seid oder auch so viel die Tastatur nutzt, kann ich euch das Keyboard nur wärmstens empfehlen, vorausgesetzt euch stört nicht, dass ihr euch an ein neues Layout gewöhnen müßt.

It’s a different touch from typical mechanical keyboards. Not tactile nor purely linear. It’s more like the analog shoulder button controller? Ofc, typing is smooth and quick. May need time to get used to this layout by using combination with the fn key.Its a bit louder than the mx red switch so the type-s may be a better choice if using in office. Quality key caps but the edge is not polished when pulling it off. It costs 299 euros but the key caps look kind cheap.Anyway, if you want smooth typing, wireless connection and do like HHKB, go for a try. If not, you could buy a well built mechanical keyboard with lower price, maybe two.
